yeah i saw it got he gets so angry. i no he has a right to be angry but he should never grab her and push her aroubd the amount he does. i dnt care wat she did nothing should allow him to do that

plus he knows she pregnant i cant believe he acted like that towards her he cud hurt the baby

I saw the advert briefly and I am so glad that jake finally finds out about the affair, hope Becca and Justin get their comeuppance and everyone finds out.

I do agree that Jake is out of order for manhandling Becca the way he did, we have to see it all before we judge but he has been known in the past to not be able to control his temper and this would send him over the edge

However, it looks as if Becca's about to have a lucky escape: if Jake's capable of bashing her around like that then that isn't a relationship she wants to stay in.

Does Jake actually "hit" Becca. If so I can't condone it no matter how hurt or angry he may be. Still, it is crafty of the writers if he does so because it shifts the focus from Becca's sins and makes her the victim, yet again. All the lies and deceit will fade into the background if Jake is made the villain of the story. I guess to some he always has been the villain for not being Justin.

I wouldnt blame him for losing it wrong or not, becca is no victim in any of this.

No one will see it that way if he hits her. People are already queing up to heap scorn on Jake because it will in some warped minds justify Becca's cheating on him. I wonder at the double standards on these boards. We have so many posters castigating Clare for cheating on Max and being a liar. How is what becca has done any better? Is it because there's love involved? That somehow makes what she's done right. I say to all those, look at Nancy and how this has affected her, how it will in so many ways. Does it still seem like such a good thing?

well i dont congratulate becca anything she gets even a slap is earned well and truly by her lies and deception, she deserves no sympathy, she wants respect she has to earn it, the distructive power of a lie is stronger than truth.

i am a firm believer in a man that hits a woman is not worthy of being a man, but even a man his his limits and jake was pushed well and truly to any limit, he can plead momentary madness, people have got off murder with that.

Two wrongs don't make a right Jen. Jake was silly but he didn't give his heart to Lisa and it was, while wrong and hurtful, pretty trivial compared to the long standing deceipt he has endured. Remember, he always had his suspistions and was made to feel stupid for feeling that way. He has been lied to from almost the day he married Becca. He has bent over backwards to be the model husband and has often only got a snappy response ("transference of guilt" I believe they call it). There have been so many lies I can hardly count them. But making Jake believe he had a wife that loved him and even a child that might not be his, surely you can't Just-ify that (pun intended). Besides, what did Nancy do to deserve not being able to see her dad one last time? Justin in his mature way made sure that Nancy knew that Becca didn't care a jolt about her when he stuck the boot in. Did Nancy cheat on Becca too? lol

and i say again: she forgave him, nobody held a gun to her head and made her forgive him!

And ppl are sayin that jake didnt feel anything for lisa but that makes it worse as he risks what he had with becca for nothing whereas becca actually feels alot for justin
