I'm torn, I don't think that Nancy's grown up enough, yes he is her nephew but she's too young to be looking after a baby, but Frankie isn't actually related to him and is suffering severe money problems atm..

Frankie's track record as a parent is dicey, given her treatment of Craig when he came out, and her treatment of Steph over the Jake issues. Also, she seems to be simply trying to collect new children to combat her empty nest syndrome.

At the same time, Nancy is too young to deal with that sort of responsibility.

On top of that, it seems absurd to me that the only genetic grandparent of this kid that's around hasn't even made a claim for him. Plot hole.

True, but I just see it as a gaping plot hole, that she's not even been discussed on-screen as an option. It seems like the writers have forgotten there's other relatives outside of the camera lens, to even include only as a threat.

Plus, babies on soaps are always a little sad, as they're usually pawns in horrifying storylines, so I say ship the poor kid off before he gets kidnapped/killed/sold into child prostitution!

NANCY...deffo...frankie isnt even related to Charlie so why should she get her...?...and Frankie also has all the other troubles in her life atm e.g...going bankrupt...Jake going mental...a family to care for...it would just be eaiser if he was with Nancy and at least Nancy's actually related to Charlie...!...

E.g Jake - ermm whole load of crep there! murderer 1), attempted rape 2), attempted murder 3), and a whole load of harassing Justin, Darren, Newt etc.
E.g Steph - "so you realise what a **** you're brother has been, but I still hate you more than the boys mwahahaha!"

+ a load of wasp vibes with the whole Charlie I-Must-Find-Another-Possibility-Of-A-"Perfect"-Child thing going on!!

3) Jake - basically, i) killed/murdered Mrs Valentine, ii) hassles (beats up) Justin, Newt , Russ and Darren, iii) attempted rape of Nancy, iv) attempted murder of Charlie... whoah

4) Darren - lies, gambles, frames half-brother for murder, cheats, mean to troubled youngsters lol, but still slightly lovable

5) Steph - mean to her, mean to her, mean to her, anyway the whole "you realise Jake has been evil, I don't care, you are still wrong"

nancy as she is charlies uncle and frankie is no relation...i know nancy might seem a bit immature to care for a child but she would be more mature if she had charlie to look after...nancy mum would be a good idea but that wil take him out of the show

Im vicky. Hi. I think that nancy has more right to have charlie then frankie seen as though they are blood related in the show. I mean frankie is nothing to charlie. Nancy should keep charlie as she promised her sister she would look after him.

Nancy should, she may be young but that doesn't stop her giving him the best care she can and aside from her mother and justin there are no other blood relatives to offer, Frankie should concentrate on the lot she's got before taking on more

i think nancy should get charlie. although, i think justin should see charlie more seeing as he is the biological father. as far as i know nancy managed fine before charlie went into hospital and stuff...
only started watching it last year so i dont know.
but yeah, it kinda seems that as everyone from the Dean clan is leaving (other than Steph, although she moved out) Frankie just wants to replace them. Let's face it, she never talks about Craig anymore. I don't think she's really accepted his sexuality.

If Nancy gets together with Rafi he would support her all the way. I think he would be better off with Nancy anyway.
