ok...so whats shes done with justin is illegal...but if he "loves" her and doesn't want to press any charges...can they? can they do anything about it except sacking her and stuff?

I think his mum could press charges about her, but i'm not really sure about that!!

she will be prosicuted for having relations with somebody who is under her authority, thats what makes teacher pupil relations illegal regardless of the age, if hey r under 18 and under ur authority or 'position of trust' then its agaisnt the law and she can be charged........ i think lol

So basically if Liz tells the authoritys to leave Becca alone she still might end up getting charged, (does that make sense)!!

yeh justin and becca do stay together but only cause becca gets fired. since she is no longer his teacher then it is no longer against the law. but she gets fired for having relations with her student who is under 18. but yeah she loses her job because of it and she ends up gettin takin to the police station n stuff i think but she will have to appear in court also as far as i know

so no one really knows whats gonna happen in this case?! is that the gist? but...surely hollyoaks would have to stick to reality on a storyline like this cos otherwise loads of parents and critics will complain because they are "glorifying teacher/pupil relationships" or something like that?! you know what people are like now days

this is what happened to real cases:

Last month a geography teacher from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire was found guilty of snogging a 15-year-old pupil in her class on three separate occasions, including once in the school broom cupboard. Shelley White, 25, is due to be sentenced at Leeds crown court later this month. She has been told she will be spared jail, although her name has been added to the Sexual Offenders' Register.

In another case in June, English teacher Nicola Prentice, 25, was given a 12-months suspended prison sentence at Leicester crown court after she admitted sleeping with a pupil at a Nottingham school after he turned 16. Both women have been banned from teaching.

I hope that doesn't happen to Becca because she's a good person and I think it was an honest (well maybe not so honest) mistake.

Nobody can do a thing is no one presses charges and then Justin and Becca can be together forever. They really love eachother alot and not even Jake can stop them from being together.

well my dads in the police and he said, what shes done isn't a major criminal offence cos justins over 16, the most she'd get would be a suspended sentence, which in real terms means she doesn't have to go to prison unless she does something else criminal...so she can stay with justin

Its illegal as far as I know and thought. Especially with him being a pupil and he the teacher. I think Leonie is right though..
