OMG I thought it was her!! She sounded completely different and had no make up on and I wasn't sure. Came on here to see if anyone else had posted about it!!

He didnt directly say he was, just a little "inside joke" there. A bunch of critics have probably been claiming Shakespeare was "secretly gay" and so they decided to chuck in that little ambiguous line.
I did enjoy the episode...but I was a little disappointed I must say...
