Rightio then, lets get down to business. I feel left out cos many people have posted things about Craig and I want to too

So... its a bit obvious... he's just confused. Basically the Hollyoaks writers are just playing a mini game of cat & mouse. They get us excited... then we all turn miserable and start hating Confused Craig. Then it rewinds to the beginning about ten times.

The guy is attracted to Sarah and John Paul. Unless he's straight and just likes John Pauls butt, we dunno

I reckon he's just bi, but doesn't really appreciate it. He's probably just a homphobic bi?

I've given it a bit of a thought. He's probably gay or bi but just probably wouldn't be able to cope with going public with it. After seeing how much John Paul got skitted after the kiss, he probably wouldn't dare tell anyone. No wonder he wanted to keep it secret with John Paul.

He could be JPsexual. Seeming he likes many girls but just one guy, it makes sense that he's JPsexual.

Yeh I think he's just attracted to JP because they are such close friends, and he knows that he really loves JP as much/more than he loves Sarah, but is afraid to admit it because of the reaction he'll get.

I think Confused Craig may be bi, and may be truly in love with JP but would never willingly go public with him, he's just too ashamed, so he carries on going out with Sarah as a cover up, poor confused Craig!

I think it is definitely possible that, especially at Craig's age, one's feelings of friendship for one's best mate can be stronger than the sexual attraction to a girlfriend. That does not mean that those feelings are sexual attraction. This may be one point Craig is Confused over.

In Craig's case, his friendship type of love for John Paul was extremely strong for several reasons: John Paul seems to have been his first good friend; John Paul was his protector; he is personally very insecure and possessive. So he reacted pathologically to what he perceived as the danger, even the likelihood, that the friendship was being lost.

IOW, it may be true in a sense that he loves John Paul more than Sarah, but it is a different kind of love. And unfortunately his love for John Paul, which may have been a healthy love of friend for friend, has been distorted by his Confusions and his ways of dealing with them into something pathological. And by that I don't mean same sex attraction, I mean possessiveness and abusive behavior.
