Noway was jo a sore loser, when she won BDP she even mentioed Charlotte from Emmerdle, I think it was the way it was editted, because when Emma's name was called out Jo smiled and clapped Emma. Not all soap stars are bitter and sore losres, that Corrie cast's deparment.

she probobaly has but to to be honest they could of chosen any scene my gripe was that her clips seemed woefully short compared to others and none of the scenes were shown in their entirety.

Jo Joyner was soo annoyed and the way she mentioned the other people and Charlotte when she won was so patronising

Agree that a better clip could've been used, either the scene with Hannah and Melissa in hospital or the scene with Rhys and her thru the door, or the scene when they found out. They were more to do with why she won the award I think.

And them not winning Best Storyline- c'mon what a joke. There were 4 there, and the other three were all affairs! I know 1 was JP/Craig which was different cos it was a gay one, but that goes to show how unoriginal and tedious affairs are, and I haven't seen the whole storyline but I've seen lots of it and Hannah's ED was way better. Carla Chases would've got up on stage if it had've won, and she deserved some recognition. But sure Emma did really well, so pleased for her!

Jo wasn't annoyed at all, she smiled and clapped when Emma won, and how was it patronising because she mentioned Charlotte? would you of said that if one of the HO cast had mentioned someone else? It's could being nice and reconiseing other people.

Loui looked sooooo peed and annoyed when Stacey/Max storyline won.

Stace/Max affair was very well written and acted. It won fait and sqaure. HO won 6 awards, they can't win everything.

Well Lacey clapped when Emma won but Jo....

Anyway Sophie Tompson was a very sore loser.

Yeah, I agree the Stacey/Max storyline was well written, and Lacey and Max (dunno his real name??) are brilliant actors

I just feel that an affair is slightly unoriginal, and an anorexia storyline is really relevant and educational, while being entertaining and moving to watch. The affair did not provoke the same emotion or praise from people I know that Hannah's storyline did, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Well done to EE for winning it, I just feel that the anorexia storyline highlighted the problem and deserved the recognition of doing so.

As for the patronising thing, there's always someone every year who mentions the others, it is so patronising and I would say the same if someone from Hollyoaks had done it. I preferred Emma's "I really didn't expect it". Or if Jo had've just said "They were all so good" or whatever, fair enough, but to go right out and mention someone is just a bit rubbing it in, IMO.

I thought it was sweet of her to mention Charlotte like that, it shows she likes other soap, and doesn't just want EE to win everything and get all the praise.

Jake plays Max by the way. Lacey, Jake, Charlie, Jo, June, Adam & Pam are the best actors/Actresses in EE.

I was shocked that Jake or Charlie didn't win Best Actor actually, thought they would.

I found myself crying at alot of things last night btw- Liz Dawn made me bawl right on til Best Actress!!! cried at the scene with Hannah being sectioned, and cried at the Emmerdale scene when the baby died and the 1 when the old man died, god soaps are tear-jerking!

Did anyone notice Suzanne beside her when Emma won? She CRIED! And Andy Moss was so cute when Emma won Hollyoaks went mad for her, which was really nice to see the support (obviously all the other soaps had it too, but it was cute)

And it was really cute when Chris won Best Actor and James Sutton's face lit up, he was so genuinely happy for him!

Emma really deserved to win - the annorexia sl last year was brilliant!

i totally agree well done Emma, you just showed us not to turn to annorexia because it can kill you and you represented the people who do have annorexia really well, Well done you totally deserved it!!!

I'm a HO and EE fan and i'm pleased for both of them. but for HO to win 6 awards was amazing
