I think it's ended perfectly, if thats my last memory of them then I'm more than happy.
I wouldn't ask for more but if they ever did anymore then of course I'd tune in!

Nah i dont think this would work at all. They would have to make it drama packed and would probably mean Jp and Craig would have lovers tiff and fall outs and lots of drama and would kinda ruin the whole sunset ending! lol but maybe if hollyoaks were ever to come to an end(touch wood it doesnt) then I think they should do a one off episode of each character showing what they got up to later in life. And Jp and Craig could be married and still as in love as ever!

Why spoil the perfect ending ... I do not remember ever seeing an ending like this before. I totally agree with the comments made in the "Times" as reproduced on the HO official site ... and from Producer, Director, Storyline Developers, Writers and ofcourse the superb young actors - Guy and James - this has been a storyline of enormous importance to the gay and lesbian community, and to British society as a whole. The treatment of this complex relationship has been so exemplary by HO, that it deserves recognition not only in "Soap Land", but from those groups dealing with these issues in 'real life'.
If you want to "see" a sort of ending after the SE then read on the hollyfiction section "And in the end - Sequel to tale of two cities" written by Dawneh, if not all of it then just the two part epilogue, it was very touching and brought a tear to my eye.
I love John Paul and Craig... but i think a spin off would be a bad idea. I think a mention of them from time to time would be nice.

That was the original plan for the November late nighters fortunatley Guy and James said no Mcdean has had good moments though i didnt agree with the sunset ending but its time to say enough and move on
i luv john paul anbd craig and when i discovered John paul was leaving i was genuinly gutted! hated the thought of them not being on the screen!! but when they went together in the sunset ending i couldnt help but smile!! i luv mcdean more than anything but i think the ending was to good to continue it on, not to spoil the perfection that it is!
