Because when she is talking to OB she says, "If it wasnt for moi, poor Mel woulnt have died in the fire". I know they died in the explosion but why did she say that?
Nah its because thats where they met Clare to prove she had been cheating on Max through tht CCTV footage and obviously before Mel and Sophie got out Sam got in there and started the fire. So technically their deaths is down to Clare because if she wasnt so careless in sleeping with warren with the camera on mel and sophie wouldnt have gone in there and died.

Hmmm, she definitely didn't kill them. That was Sam Owen. But she never liked Mel because she knew what Clare was up to. I'm not quite sure what she meant by that but I know that Clare and Mel were enemies.

Thank You! And Clare also saw Sam walking into The Dog! But then carried on walking!
Well it was Sam who set The Dog alight and Sophie wud have been there anywhere, coz she was meant to be meetin cheatin Russ.
On the other hand, Mel won't hav had she not agreed to meet O.B to show off their CCTV evidence, so technically, had it not been for Claire, Mel wud have survived.
And they were not the ugly sisters, they were the beautiful sisters!
