I think that Jp still cares for Craig BUT he is not in love with him anymore!
If Craig was to walk into The Dog tomorrow to declare his love for JP I'm sure JP wouldn't go with him.....

Please McDeaners move on and let JP do the same!

He isn't for sure. The conversation with Hannah a few weeks ago is the first time since September thats we've seen JP honest. The priest will never be Craig he knows that and so do we.

Dont get me wrong I like JP/K and being a McDeaner I know that we shouldn't get our hopes up about a SE but how can you say that Jp doesn't love Craig anymore - Hannah said that JP was still in love with his ex and he didn't exactly protest! - infact he did the exact opposite saying that no one will ever be Craig etc etc ....

I don't believe for a second that JP doesn't love Craig. Yes, realistically in terms of the relationship, he probably would be over him.... 7 months after they split BUT what happened between them changed JP's life. Meeting Craig and falling for him was what made JP realise who he was.

Plus, it's not just Craig...... there's a lot of people that were affected by the relationship. People JP has to see every day and be reminded of what happened. It wouldn't be right for him to not still think about it.

BUT JP and Craig are over [For now] and it's understandable that the character would move on. It would be more unrealistic if JP was still sobbing into his pillow after 7 months...

Well I thought it was the best written and romantic storyline anyway. Probley cause we never really had a storyline like that on the before. It did go on while and craig annoyed me alot but i don't think it got boring!

Some people prefer to pretend his convo with Hannah never happened

I think the point is that they parted still completely in love with one another and both just needing to sort their heads out, it has to be resolved happily and i'm confident it will be

I think what is really annoying me about the storyline, is the fact that JP is gonna tell Kieron he "loves" him and I have read that he is gonna tell him he is the love of his life.

Well, Im sorry but that just turns my stomach if he says that, cos the last time we saw JP on screen, he was telling him he did not even know him, so how could he love him and that he loved Craig.

Just coz he says it, doesn't mean he means it. I'm sure in someway he does "love" fk, but not in the way he loves Craig. Like he said to Hannah, he'll never love anyone like the way he loved Craig, he knows that so he is trying for second best.

Second best can only be ok for so long though...
