See i can't see why people condone Jake's violence when people were calling Justin immature for punching a wall. Apparently punching an actual person is much more mature.

god that was such a good episode! both that and the channel 4 one together!! and darren was actually quite funny i cant beleive no-one helped justin. jake did behave appallingly when he threatened to hit becca's face in, and that really frightened me. It was good because it was easy to sympathise with everyone's point of view, but nicole was acting like an idiot. xx

Darren was so funny he bought so much humour into it, but I did sit here wanting to cut his hair!!

I couldn't believe the holier-than-thou reaction to Becca and Justin's secret! So what if she is his teacher, Justin is over the age of consent so they're not doing anything wrong. I'd be more upset that Becca cheated on Jake, never mind who with.

Now Becca faces a criminal record and for what -being a red-blooded human being. If Justin was 15 there would be a case for "abuse of a position of trust", and in that case the book should rightly be thrown at her. But he isn't, so criminalising Becca is ruddy cruel.

Meanwhile thanks to our honourable leaders, thousands of genuine paedophiles are at large.

Shes still his teacher, when Lisa was seeing James that was wrong cos he was the drama teacher, its more to do wiv her position as a teacher than age!!

An age of consent should be universal. Otherwise what is the point? If Becca had been a waitress at Il Gnosh she would not be committing an offence.

What he did to Becca wasn't called for but Justin deserved a beating. Justin is a nasty little toe rag and the sooner people wake up to how nasty he can be the better. Or are some forgetting the way Justin took great delight in telling Nancy that when Becca was supposedly meant to be visiting their father she was having a dirty weekend away with him.

I'm not suprised Jake has lost it the way he did as he has been bending over backwards to make Becca happy and she has thrown it back in his face.

I can understand how Jake feels, but he cannot go round knocking ten bells out of people.

With Lisa there was the case James was in a relationship with a child. Not only that there are the moral implications. For instance there could be the suspicion of better grades and favouritism. That's why such relationships are frowned up as it's un-professional conduct.

As for teacher/pupil relationships, then some think a 16 year old may be classed as mature, but in reality they are not. They can still be easily led and influenced. That's why the laws are in place so the vunerable cannot be exploited by those in a position of power.

I know what you mean the acting was fantastic and the episode was soooo GOOD! when justin was being beaten up it was so sad lol. But when they all turned on becca and justin i thought it was sad. but the whole episode was FAB darren was hilarious

Fair comment, but there are also 16-year olds with maturity beyond their years (and with everything Justin has been through, it's no wonder). People can be one age physically but act much younger/older than they actually are.

And there remain plenty of opportunities for vulnerable people to be exploited away from the so-called "security" of these laws.

The thing is a 16 year old boy is driven by hormones.
A pretty woman offers a 16 year old boy sex on a plate and how many would say no. Not only that Becca knew Justin had a fixation on her for quite a while. In every respect what she did was totally wrong and she abused her position of trust.

I agree Rodmann. Some members here still think Justins a total saint and are forgetting what he did to Darlene pushing her through a glass panel and leaving her scarred for life.
