She could go to prison i am loving the storyline but she hasnt mentioned once that she could go to Jail. Only said she could loose her Job

i loved the way at the end of the show the guy comes on and mentions if you have been affected by any of the issues raised than call this number.

On fridays episode they said something along the lines of due to changes in the law what becca and Justin are doing is wrong.

It had me in hysterics. Oh really, the laws changed i can no longer sleep with my teacher.

i dont think she could go 2 prison because justin is agreeing to sleep with her, so to be honest shes not all to blame here.

I dont think it matters if Justin agrees to it, It illegal, so like she would go to jail.

isnt justin in 6 form thou, so i duno if that would still count really and he is consenting to it

It's still illegal, even if justin is over 16 and consenting, but in reality unless he presses charges or there was some really obvious proof (like him being the father of her baby or something) it's likely that becca would just lose her job and not actually go to prison.

Ive read about it she is abusing her trust as a teacher and it could affect other pupils such as:she could be giving him better grades than he desrves or so on

i could understand her losing her job but prison is just stupid. If thats the law then the laws in this country get even more stupid as the years pass.

How on earth can it be illegal to shag a 6th form pupil. He isnt a child so whats wrong

becca cant go prison cos justin is 17 which means he is over the age to have sex. she will lose her job but they cant jail her.

So in the recent case in Hollyoaks of Becca sleeping with her 16-year-old pupil Justin, Becca is breaking the law even though Justin is over the age of consent. Becca could face a prison sentence and be prevented from teaching again.
