Hollyoaks has been doing ever so well this week so far in ratings and if they keep this up, they can have a new record for the higest ratings for a single week!

Monday was seen by 2.3m, Tuesday 2.3m, Wednesday 2.5m and yesterday 2.1m. All were the 6;30 editions broadcast on C4. E4 first look viewing at 7pm has been over 600,000 all week..

If Friday hets more than 2m- it will wrap up the higest ratings of the year for the show and the higest since back in 2000!

Yes it was a prettyu laughable commnt from series producer Bryan Kirkwood who said Hollyoaks gets up to 4 million. A single episode has NEVER GOT anywhere near that figure, maybe combined with E4 nad the C4 Omnibus than HOllyoaks may have got that figure. After Mr Kirkwood's comment, several magazines claimed Hollyoaks got 4 million per episode which is totally unfound!

Just one problem, those ratings from the channel4sales website are the ratings figures for channel4 and channel 4 + 1 put together so there not the ratings for the original 6.30 broadcast..

I am led to beileve that the ratings are for just Channel 4 show...

yeah people are dead right when they say it's great to see HO getting some recognition...it really is!but i still don't think they get the cred' they deserve,but i'm sure that one day soon,if they keep up all the good work and great storylines,it'll be a popular as corrie and eastenders!it should be anyway i tink,as the storylines are great,far more unique than what the other soaps have to offer!
