Yeah probably.She's judging him on what she's already done(not that he know's it yet!) It also shows how insecure she really is .Feel sorry for her though at the same time-she aint that bad , deep down,she just comes across as a "motor mouth" to hide her vunrebility.

Judged on previous events Mercedes really wants Warren rather than Russ. I cannot see a Russ/Mercedes marriage lasting long. But then not many couples do last in Hollyoaks before at least one dies or leaves!
And now we clearly see Russ is still in love with Dannii! Who he'd be miles better off with as Mercedes may be gorgeous but is a sly one with her cheting with Warren and is way too high maintenace
It`s obvious that russ doesn`t want to marry mercedes, did he even propose to her, wasn`t it in the pub when he was asking her something and she jumped to the wrong conclusion and thought he mean`t marrage, he didn`t say anything. She doesn`t seem to know what she wants either because she slept with warren, she`s also very controlling and gets jealous at the slightest thing, if russ was talking to a barmaid for more than 5 minutes she`d bounce over and accuse him of fanying her, definitely a marrage made in hell

he was going to ask her but she asked him first. i remember russ was askin carmel if it would be stupid to ask her without a ring so carmel gave him one of her finger.
