Oh but I think the whole point of this somewhat improbable pairing it that it gives Niall something to find out about JP. Then he can reveal it to Myra, who will be horrified that the son on whom she dotes (and therefore Niall's enemy because that's what he should have been) has so completely disregarded the 'no sex with priests rule'. Myra is very religious - remember how upset she was when her statue got broken during Niall's party?

I'm afraid McPriest does seem to have been created purely as part of Niall's revenge - hence JP and priesty acting so out of character just so that Niall has something to work with. We've already been told that 'Niall's revenge' is the big story of 2008, and that's looking to be very much the case, judging by what's happening at the moment.

aren't hurting anyone else?? What about Myra and the rest of the family, they will never talk to him again! And I'm sure the people at fk's church are not gonna be happy either! Also when Craig finds out it will break his heart.

God ,yes. This is a really stupid story just cooked up to get JP 'in action' again, as if a priest who has joined the faith and accepted the conditions that it sets out is suddenly going to risk it all when he meets a teenage boy and attends a 'fashion show'!

Yes, but a man who has taken an oath before God to remain celibate. Why do that if you are not even going to try and uphold the vow???? We have not even seen priesty remotely struggling with his consience.

Did you like it how when the fashion show was disrupted by an armed siege, which to everyone's knowledge at the time could easily have resulted in fatalities and casualties, the priest does not even consider going along to offer help / last rites even to anyone involved???
