The end has to be the Sunset Ending. A perfect ending to this angst ridden love story.


The build up to mcdean was amazing the reveal beautifully done and the airport episode is deserving of a oscar

so yes a Sunset Ending is definately the way to go...

Craig and Johh Paul are best friends who fell in love.

The Keiron story is about Keiron crisis of faith and the need for love and JP journey

Craig and John paul need to be how it ends... I see them as soulmates and kindered spirits

Craig comming to terms with his sexuality which is where the character was going is important and a sucessful gay relationship on TV is a must.

I'm not sure, i was never a massive fan of JP/Craig and i think some things just don't have a happy ending, Craig wasn't in that place for it to be a sunset ending but i think also this JP/Kieron thing was never meant to live happily either i mean he is a gay priest after all lol

Although i'm not sure if James is meant to be leaving or not and if he is it would be a nice way to end it

YES! We all know it ends badly so why wouldn't we want JP to end up with the person he's always loved.

JP loving K doesn't mean he no longer loves C, he's just buried his feelings for the sake of moving on.xxx

Yes yes yes! Craig and JP belong together! There is no other way...the priest is a learning curve for JP so he can realise that public affection is not the be all and end all and that just because Craig isn't gay, their love is so much more...

Kieron and JP just don't fit. All their scenes are dark and seem to be forboding the unhappy end to their fling. Plus, there is more chemistry two garden gnomes than there is between these two.

And I want John Paul to have a storyline has nothing to do with his sexuality.

I have enjoyed watching both storylines and so far i think it has been James and Guy who showed the best chemistry and made the most believable couple.

But after seeing the spoiler video for next Thurs (think its the 15th) i have to say James and Jake looked much more believeable as a couple than they have ever done before. I think by the looks of that scene that both actor have really work on the chemistry and its showing. Im looking forward to seeing where this storyline now goes.

Also if they bring back Guy for the sunset ending doesnt that mean Hollyoaks is loosing James. As much as the sunset ending would be brilliant to watch, is it worth loosing such a good actor from the cast

I've been wondering that, everyone is talking about this 'sunset ending' but does anyone actually know if James is leaving and with what everyone saying in the spoiler section and Matt Littler announcing that he is leaving it seems that everyone is going lol i'd much prefer JP to stay and be happy and if its with Kieron well then thats just a bonus

i loved mcdean at first but it got boring after a while i think mcpriest is so much better JP and Kieron look more cuter together

This is quite a difficult question. If there was ever any chance that Guy was coming back or if James wanted to leave then yes, i would love Craig to come back. However, if it happens that Craig is not ever going to return then i would be very happy for John Paul to stay with Keiron. I wasn't sure at first but i think they make a nice couple and Keiron is a great character in his own right as well!

Most storylines are about sexuality so why should JP be any different?

Did y'see Guy and James in the audience for the Soap Awards? You got more chemistry from them sat together as themselves in an audience than JP and Father Kieron could ever muster up as actors! lol.

And to think some people have said would the chemistry still be there after nearly a year. The Soap Awards gave the answer to that!

James has said himself that JP and Kieron ends badly - explosively, was the word he used. And he didn't look too upset at the thought, seeing as he has always said he hoped JP ended up with Craig in the end. The truth comes out next month and it's downhill from then!

And Guy will be back for the Sunset ending. He's said he's more than happy to do it.

yea, defo. I think the majority od mcdean fan still want that sunset ending. wer just happy james is happy with fr. K for the time being, i think wer just hopin when craig does come back, it'll cause more angst...coz ya know we just love craig all angsty...he just looks sooooo good! but i hear fr.K is going to die so i dunno...
