EXCLUSIVE: Summer Preview: Hollyoaks

There's been a lot of speculation as to whether Gemma Bissix - Hollyoaks' Clare Cunningham - is sticking with the show. Well, I can tell you that she is. But who knows what's around the corner? From what I've heard, there's definitely mileage in the storyline - it gets even better in the coming weeks and months with various twists and turns.

A source close to the show told me: "The 'Who Pushed Clare?' storyline looks to culminate in September and the whole thing wraps in the biggest shock Hollyoaks has ever seen. In the meantime, Warren's trial looks to dominate August - but will he go down for pushing Clare? Or will the real culprit be caught?"

A question dropped into my inbox the other day about Helen Pearson, who plays Frankie Dean in the Channel 4 soap, as to her whereabouts. Well, I can tell you that she's been taking a break from filming for a few months for "personal reasons" but will definitely be back on screen later in the year.
