I cant believe it! for such a massive storyline not to win anything, its strange! im sure that this storyline is the main reason for a surge in audience viewers for hollyoaks. I can belive the guy who plays justin got best actor instead of james or guy...or even jamie lomas!! I love the fact hollyoaks got loads of award and lots of recognition but not at the expensive of not seein just how great a storyline jp/craig was and wat exceptional actors they were/are...they deseverved to win something...i still cant believe they didnt...

It got awards last year i think!


I think the story line is not as popular as it used to be!
maybe sum people got bored of it!

My thoughts exactly. It has definitely brought in a larger audience. You only have to look on YT to gather that. It has won other awards just not the BSA's this year or last. It won the Stonewall award, DS award and I'm sure something else but I can't remember what else.

I think Chris is a much better actor then James and Guy, much better.

The storyline wasn't any specail or good. Hannah's storyline was much better and more sad to watch, if anything, that should of won something.

im glad that Hollyoaks won loads of awards but Guy was definitly the one who should have one best actor, im not saying chris cant act, he can act amazingly but Guy showed raw talent last year that deserved recogniton,

i personally think jack p shepard shuold have won best actor.but thats just me i got bored with storie line.

I think Emma should have got BDP and Jo Joyner shoud have got BA,but it went the other way lol, strange, but I'm happy for Emma.

I thought so too...and and hollyoaksfan152, i totally agree with you, well put, guy did show just how good he is last year. someone said that the storyline was so long ago that people got bored or forgot about it, but all or most of the storylines that wer up for nominations twere from last year, because nxt year the ones that are going on now will be up next year....and also i know they won other awards, and rightly so, but they didnt win any british soap award....

i think viewers tuned in more for the anorexia storyline than that! and that at the clare storyline was so much better! Jp and craig jus got boring after awhile! it was always the same old thing all the time!

Naa, I think it's cos it was a gay storyline. Everyone else who won was nothing to do with a gay storyline. It's won critical awards, that storyline, including the Stonewall. I think it was mean of them to ignore the storyline considering how many nominations it got - more than any other storyline.

You can't have been watching very closely, A corrie actor, an ee actor and Chris and James were the last 4.

It was Chris and James las year as well, But he hadn't done the skating then, so he didn;t win!

Jack shepherds a crap actor. all he does well is glare!

Either way Jake or Charlie should of won Best Actor, they are miles better. But Chris is miles better then James and Guy.

And the McDean storyline is the most boring storyline HO has ever done.

Completely agree - the Claire storyline was WAY better than McDean. I got so bored with Craig - and to me he's not a great actor, I found him very wooden with his emotions.

Chris Fountain totally deserved to win the award, and if he hadn't won I think Jamie Lomas deserved it second.

i thik the claire storyline was better than the mcdean i got bored towards the end of the mcdean but i loved the claire storyline all the way through

Not really that strange, best actress is a public vote (so a popularity contest), whereas best dramatic performance is a panel vote - so that's the industry opinion.

Hannah's storylin was one of the best HO has ever done! Better acting, more emotional, more gripping, more sad to watch. It was a million timesbetter then McDean.

i know craig n jps affair shud av won it or hannahs anerexia. cant belive max n staceys affair won it it was well rubish. hollyoaks shud av won best soap
