I am absolutely thrilled for him. I did vote for him. Did he deserve to win against all the other soaps? Maybe not. I dont watch them. But it's not like Chris is a bad actor. In fact, I think he's great and I think he proves it whenever he gets a decent storyline.
I find it quite laughable all these people who say he doesnt deserve it. Given that it was a PUBLIC vote, I think they played a huge part in him winning!
Lets not forget, this is the same public that gave Antony Cotton the title last year! Chris certainly deserves it compared to that.
I say well done to Chris. He ought to be proud of himself and I hope he doesn't let all these negative comments knock him off his perch.

he dont what has the character of justin done this year compared to when he has been top of his game like the maki storyline or the beeca one there has been better actors in oaks this year like jamkie lomas

He won it cos of Dancing on Ice. That's obvious. He's hardly done anything this past year, but he had a lot of exposure on that.

Also, I think its good that he hasn't been in a major storyline and managed to win!
It just goes to show that an actor doesn't have to have a sensational storyline to be recognised. CF has been consistently good throughout his time at Hollyoaks, and has finally got some credit for it

I just hope Chris doesn't let all the negative comments get to him. DOI doesn't make him a good actor, just gives him a little extra exposure. These people that voted him best actor also contributed in getting Emma the best actress awards, getting Eastenders best soap. Nobody seems to be complaining there. Why? Because THEY voted for them. THEY were the ones that vted Chris best actor. TEHY'RE the ones that caused the uproar. They need to accept it, get over it, stop complaining about something they can't change. Accept that Chris is a good actor and MOVE ON.

This year you were only allowed to vote once, which meant that the results were fairer i think. Chris did deserve to win, although i think his acting in previous years has been better than just in the last year, but he was never awarded the prize, so i'm pleased he fgot it now!!
The public votes are popularity contests to be honest. I don't know whether Chris is the best actor in soaps this year, I rarely watch the other soaps so I can't make that sort of judgement. He's not a bad actor though
^in your opinion. I can't say I think Phil is that good an actor, nor Jake, but that's MY opinion. Just like the votes are the rest of the publics opinions. It was ultimtely theirs that decided the winners in the end, aswell.
