Another mediocre Hollyoaks actor who over estimates his own importance. He has been given storylines he really couldnt lose in.

Better start looking for those bitty bits in other shows.

i dont think he is a mediocre actor i actually think he was a great actor and his story lines !!!!!!!! hollyoaks will not be the same when he s gone and alot of people are going to loose interest in it

no, not gonna happen, it would be a sad reflexion on Hollyoaks creatives if the show stood or fell on the presence of one actor. Personally I am relieved he's off - wingy, drippy character and an actor who is ok but not great

I dont think that's true at all. James Sutton alone is hardly going to be the SOLE reason Hollyoaks viewings have improved! Yes, the guy's talented and could very well have a successful career post-Hollyoaks, but I personally don't think the show will fall aprt without him.

I'd say it is more of a kick in the teeth for Deadwood.
It's well known the McQueens are his baby and if they start leaving he will only have his teachers pet Chris Fountain who will no doubt try for another contract next year when he finds no one is interested in giving him a role.

I think youre being harsh the Jp/ Craig storyline was dire in my view by the end but James made a good job of it the charachter is dire and boring now so i dont blame him for moving on and i think hell do okay make a living out of acting certinaly.

Opinion are opinion, James is tallented, he has a huge fan base and he will be succesful

I really dont think James overrates him self.

The fact is his fans love him, value and respect him.

There are certainly some who need to go like Carmel who is unfunny and Mercedes who serves no purpose at all in Hollyoaks. With Alek back how long will it be before Carmel vanishes, especially since in the stupidity stakes they have just inroduced a new character who is not only a few sandwiches short of a hamper, but genuinely funny in the way she comes across.

I think James is a great actor and will prob go on to do other great things.

You want a true iconic Hollyoaks character that will be remembered - look to Matt Littler aka Max Cunningham.

ermmm fair enough if you don't like his character but he didn't give himself these storylines !
Saying James Sutton over-estimates himself is just plain nasty its not like he asked for the storylines because he's better than everyone else mean seriously do you personally know him cause if not thats really ridiculous !

I totally agree with you on that point!

He isn't the best "Actor" in the world.

He's just been lucky when joining the cast that he got a great plotline that made the show brilliant to watch again.

Guy Burnett's portrail as "Confused" Craigy was a revelation to all us viwers,cause we didn't realise how brilliant an actor he is!

He'd been in the show for ages,but never got the chance to show us what he could do.

He was amazing to watch,a much better actor than James Sutton.

But they did work well together so that's why people love them.

You can tell James loves his job with a passion,that's easy to see,but he's not the best in the bussiness.And sometimes i think he tries too hard onscreen,where Guy doesn't have to,..but does the job allot better.

Guy's is just a plain naturel talented actor,..know doubts about it!

I don't James Sutton is a mediocre actor at all, in fact a very good one and I don't know why you think he's got such a big ego. And you can't assume that people who leave Hollyoaks to their own accord do so because they think they're above it. Did it ever occur to you that he just wanted a change?

Personally, I don't know why you're even making this post, it's just plain nasty. I don't see the point in criticising an actor if they're leaving. And who are you to judge what characters are iconic, or what's creepy? Some people like James Sutton because he's good looking, and some people like him for his talent. It's the same for every other good looking actor-it's not his fault and the people I know wouldn't like him as much if it weren't for his acting.

I totally agree with you,...again!

The "Teenyboppers" that watch the show will move on in time and find someone else to obsess over!

I'm 28 so i don't qualify for that "label",..so i can see the bigger picture.

Matt Littler,Nick Pickard,Ashley Taylor Dawson,Darren Jefferies,etc etc are much better Actors with allot more talent.

They are the staple characters of the show,and have shown there abilties over the 13yr's i've been watching.

The bosses always have brought in new Male/Female "Totty" to woo the younger viewers even if some of them can't act!

They eventually move on and leave to a world of know acting job's as high profile,..or never to be seen again!

5 years seems to be the bench mark,..or less.

If you are there longer,then you are counted as
the "Elite" cast members that would be sorely missed if they left the show.

I completely agree, the chances are we're never going to hear from him again. Okay, so he's not a bad actor, but he's not exactly amazing is he?

He's nowhere near the best actor on Hollyoaks, he doesn't even compare to some of the older actors on the show, where people have got that idea from I really don't know.
