Have to say I'm loving the character at the moment. Last year he really irritated me but recenetly he has been a breath of fresh air. I love his little comments that are quite funny.
On a side note... whilst being a 100% McDeaner - I would have preferred a Kris/JP hook-up rather than this awful McPriest. At least they have chemistry and get along together. The latter just makes me cringe and feel sick. Anybody else agree?
And on another note - I'd love for a big Kris storyline - I'm thinking he's fab alongside Darren.

I'm with you. I couldn't stand Kris at first but now I just love him. I think he's one of the most interesting characters on the show, but that's just my opinion. Yay Kris! Go Kris!
I've always liked Kris cos he's different to anyone else is soapland and i really want that 'some people are gay get over it' shirt! lol
But i'm not sure on the JP/Kris thing, i know opposites attract but i couldn't imagine them holding hands walking down the street lol and i kinda like the 'forbidden love' storyline not sure why but then again i was never a big JP/Craig fan (don't shoot me lol)

You took the words out of my mouth! Kris has kind of annoyed me in the past but he's been brilliant recently and I loved the scene the other night with him winding up Myra, JP and Kieron. Great T-shirt too. For the first time I went, "Hmmm, he's actually quite cute..."
Also agree about McPriest - I like them separate but I do find I cringe a bit watching them together - they just seem to me like a really mismatched couple.

I heard about his father as well. Hope Malachey comes back as I really liked the brotherly relationship he had with Kris. They made me laugh cos it was so true to life.

I've always loved Kris. He's one of the best characters on the show and it's brilliant acting. To be honest though, I do find him very one-sided as his only serious storyline ahs really been when he thought he had HIV. The emotional acting was simply amazing but we don't see enough of it. And we should all know what men are like when they act all tough and untouchable: they're big cuddly teddy bears in desperate need of a hug underneath! I want to see more of that side from Kris.

I agree i actually used to quite hate Kris but now he is one of my favourites. Very fuuny and generally a likeable guy!
Also, you know his t-shirt, i saw an interview with James Sutton and it was in John Paul's bedroom set and he had a poster of the exact same thing! lol!

Yeah I agree - Kris has given the show a nice bit of levity lately. He is so much funnier and likeable when he's not constantly slagging people off. He doesn't have to be cruel to be funny!
