Sorry but I don't like the new short look. I know I'm probably in a minority here but I though Ashley's long pony tail was something to be proud of. Now she just looks like a boy.

If she wanted it cut she could still have kept it long, surely?

(prepares to be lynched)...

That's your oppinion I suppose but I think she is a very pretty girl so she can have any haircut she wants and it will suit her!!
It's just very differnt to what we are used to.
Her hair was very long before.
And maybe it's for a storyline!!

By that way of thinking, you are saying that the majority of the other Hollyoaks females looks like little girls because most of them have got much longer hair. Even Jessica Fox has grown hers and looks much better for it.

I'm sorry, but I'm a traditional guy, I prefer women with long hair! Something you can stroke and admire.

OMG i cant believe it!!! i think it looks nice but shes brave though going from that long a hair to that short!!! wow!!! i wonder what they did with her hair they could have made it into a wig!!! she can stick some of it on me coz im trying to grow my hair (shoulder length) but dont think it will match as i have darker hair lol!!!

she does look boy-ish now, but I really like it! I'm considering getting something similar done to my hair in the summer. If I did, I'd also be getting it dyed purple so I'm thinking very carefully about it!

But yeah, I like her new look =)

how do u come to that conclusion? Just coz the poster said she looks more grown up?? Its true her hair was stupidly long before like something u would expect on a kid but the short hair makes her look a bit more mature. I think it was the fact as well she always had it tied back or in a plait that didnt help her look older.

I loved Ashley's old hair, I was just always amazed at how long it was. But I think the short hair's really lovely on her as well, it definitely makes her look more mature. Really brave of her as well to have such a drastic change, I was going to do something similar last summer but chickened out! (It wouldn't even have been that big a change for me Razz)

i really like it i think it suit her better but it makes her look older and not so much of a skint teenage mum so duno how its going to work iwth her storyline as if hse doesnt have enough money for food how could she afford a hair cut?

Her hair looks so great.
It is such a drastic change from her long hair so it will probably get a bit of getting used to, but it really suits her. Smile
