Ahhhh what a refreshing change. I was in need of a nice positive thread that actually congratulated him, instead of the ones where people just want to knock him off his perch.
I'm thrilled for him. I hope he's incredibly proud of himself. He's very talented, and I hope he doesnt let the negative comments affect him and looks at his award with pride. He did himself and Hollyoaks well. Good on him, I say!

To be fair only one or two have criticised him or his acting, but some are saying that perhaps he's been more worthy in previous years, which is swings and roundabouts really. Some you win and some you lose.
Congrats to Chris anyway for once a worthy winner of the best actor prize, in the past few years we've had terrible winners who can't act their way out of a paper bag, but least Chris ends poor run.

Oh I'm not denying he may have been more worthy in previous years, like during the drug storyline and J and Becca's affair, all I'm saying is that the way some people have gone on, you'd think he was a dreadful actor, which he isn't.
Maybe he didn't deserve it THIS year as much as previous years, but he won it and I am thrilled for him. There's no point in not been. The results can't be changed :P

That's how i feel about it really but im trying to see both sides, people are just disappointed their fav didn't win but it's too late to do anything about it now, maybe next year they should encourage more to vote for the want they want to win.
I hope so. And I completely understand why people that wanted others to win would be disappointed. I would be had I not wanted Chris to win [Which I did. Yes, I voted for him], the same way I was disappointed that he didn't win last year.
At the end of the day, there will never be an award handed out at these things that make EVERYONE happy.

Yeah i have posted on another thread that there will always be someone moaning but the winners of the public vote awards won fair and square, the panel awards fair enough i can see why some would moan at them becuase the fans have no say.
Exactly. But it was the public, so they themselves to blame :P. But I'm not complaining anyway. yes, if I had my way, Oaks would have won them all, but I dont have my own way. Chris won. I'm thrilled. Hollyoaks won. I'm thrilled. I'm not going to complain about the others. Can't change them. :P

Ah thanks for sharing that . Hopefully someone has videod it and it will find it's way onto Youtube. Chris won tonight as well btw, he beat Kyran is the SO.

i tried 2 video it but my battries went flat really gutted but lots of people had theire cameras and phones out so it should make its way there hopefully did he wow go chris apparently he won on fri aswel not quit sure if that is true though i wanted him 2 be against gareth last night in the so but he wasnt i think it was kyron he was up against last night aswel not 2 sure thou as a always mix kyron and david up lol
