Just watched the James and Bryan Kirkwood interview on DS

and they acknowledged the official sunset ending campaingers and said "he never knew anything like it, they take the cards, pictures the choclates the mania they take them to the story conferences and show the writters the writer get them. honestly he said thank you to everyone that sends it in its insane but really really gratifying as to whether we will have a sunset ending i really really dont know at this moment but i know how popular it would be and i would be a fool not to pursue it as a idea."


so i'd just like to thank the official SE Campaingners for getting noticed ..

Maybe this will pursuade them to do a sunset ending for JP and Craig and hopefully it won't be too soon!

How long, well thats the question..As much as I am a avid supporter of a sunset ending (hence this thread)i would want it to happen only when and if James is ready to leave Hollyoaks to take his career in a different direction or and if Guy was ready to come back for what ever period in time

BK, James and Guy all acknowledge this is what the fans want (and have said it would be nice to give the fans what they want) but the time has to be right, for Hollyoaks, the actors and at the same time there would have to be a very well written script to accompany it.

If this was a book then the ending would have no doubt been Sunset Ending but with it being a soap thats takes a lot of processioning over peoples careers/timetables and needs it not something easily done.

But i know if the the support for the story is still there (As the awards show) then as BK said he would be a fooll not to seriously consider it .. and hopefully soon.


i think the SUNSET ENDING would be worth the wait and on that note am grabbing a chair putting on Razorlight CD and dreaming about that day - *ok couldnt help going back to crazy land for a while.* lol
