I'm with you hun!!! I've voted no as well - and will carry on doing so because it's what I believe in!! A few individuals can't tell us 'it's over' - why then do people spend hours, years studying literature and film, when even those authors / actors are long gone???? I completely agree with you! Hey I even did a degree where I analysed everything from literature, film and tv and I loved it. I find it fascinating and to be honest it's done for a purpose. I do believe that in years to come some university degree in film and tv will probably have a module on gay and lesbian studies and they will discuss McDean in depth. Didn't it get praised by The Times for being true to life?

Morning all, hope you had a nice Valentines day, well i got inspired to do a new song rewrite by my b/f of all people would you believe (now i have him fueling my obsession will it ever leave lol), anyway i've sent it to Ali for her to add to so hopefully should have it up later lol


in the mean time as its Valentines heres a poem i wrote a little bit mcdeany and a little bit for all those true loves (i know am soppy)

HEAVENS

When the heavens woke today, they told me what would be.

They said that I’d find my one true love, some where along the way.

I spent the day walking through this very day, happy in the knowledge that love was going to find me at some point in time today.

The day grew colder and the sky became night and I thought the heaven had lied to me, on this strange day

Then from out of nowhere things seem to change, you appeared by my side. I felt your presence instantly as you felt mine.

As you turned and looked at me, my insides began to glow; my heart started dancing my soul let out a cry.

The passion over took me, your eyes just shone threw, as you held me in your arms I couldn’t help but smile. It felt like you had been part of me for ever till this day

And in my arms there you where my one true love, you’d found me on this very day, and for that I will be eternally grateful to the heavens when they eventually wake today.
