two days before xmas i decided to try and find a wii in the shops and came across stock availible in the virgin megastore in princes st,edinburgh.having only enough cash to buy the machine i proceeded to the till with the box but on arrival was told that they couldn't sell me the machine on its own and i would have to buy two full price games as well.i stated that i was willing to buy a wii but did not want any games with it they refused to sell me it on its own saying that were the rules.i was furious and am still wii-less a month on.i think its disgusting being held to ransom by stores like this.anybody else experienced similar set backs when buying a wii?

Hmm, I remember someting similar happening with the 360. But I just shopped around and eventually found a shop where you could just buy it seperate. It's probably just the individual stores....the greedy b@$t@rds lol.

I ordered a Wii before Christmas but everyone was sold out ! then I was told that they had been recalled because the wriststraps kept breaking !!
I eventually got It on the 27th Feb ,I am really enjoying playing It and by god It's keeping me fit !!!!

I had a Nintendo wii for Christmas but it was scratching the disks so i had to sent it back so now am waiting for them to sent me a new one

I ordered a wii in November, but they kept putting the date back, untill they moved it to april, and I said they could stick it. I got one from Game in February and had no probs with them making demands etc. It's brilliant though and well worth the wait.

yours was obviously faulty. I have had mine since christmas and it has been fine, have you received your new one yet?
