It's always good to have something to look forward to, be it a nice holiday, a wedding, the death of an enemy, or simply a satisfying trip to the toilet. Well, I know what I'm looking forward to: some great new games on the ol' PC.

Top of the list is Starcraft 2. The first had me wrapped around its little computerised finger, and the follow-up promises to blow us all away. Anyone seen the screen-shots? Delightful, aren't they? Other games that look promising include first-person shooter Hellgate:London and zombie adventure Left 4 Dead. Anyone who remembers the Amiga classic Speedball 2 will doubtless be soiling their breeches with anticipation at the prospect of a remake for the PC. Game on!
