Right has anyone on here with the pal version of FFX beat all the Dark Aeons, I only have the Dark Magus sisters to beat on my game which will be easy at my level but I have not beat them because the represent the last challenge in the game other FFX fanatics will understand, or at least I thought they did. Aparrently after you beat all the Dark Aeons you unlock somthing called Pennance and I want to know if this is true, It might not be on the pal version so I want to know. I cannot do it myself as my PS2 is broke and with the PS3 looming I havent bothered to fix it but I might with this new information!
So can anyone help?

I'm not sure about this 'Pennance' thing but I do know that if you beat all the dark aeons and go back to the place right near the beginning when Tidus gets captured by the al bhed and go into the water,you can swim into a large hole and into a room where you can then get Anima as an aeon to actually use.
You don't need to beat all the dark aeons to get anima, you get anima after activating all the destruction spheres and opening the hidden box in all six temples on yunas pilgrimidge, granted if you miss this in Besaid first time you have to fight Dark Valefor and if you miss it in Macalania you have to fight dark Shiva but thats it,
Pennanace is real I unlocked him after beating Dark Yojimbo, whom was the only Dark Aeon I had left to beat as you can get a lot of good stuff off him by only killing him once or twice, he rises out of a chasm in the calm lands and then he becomes a location on the airship destination list, I haven't fought him yet as the file that I unlocked him on was deleted!

Pennanace Is the Final boss on FF X and boy is it a long battle. Need as many Luck sphere points as you can get. It took me a least 4 hours to defeat it that’s including dying four times. The fiend must have over 100 million hit points.
FF X is the longest and the hardest game of all the FF series, I have not finished FF XII yet but it will have to be something amazing to do better than FF X.
