i think 7,8 and 9 are for PS1 and 10 is PS2 and 11 is an online game

I have only played X and X-2. Haven't bothered getting 11 because its online....

everyone i know says 7, the only let down with that one is the poor graphics but the game is excellant, that's why people want it remade for the PS3, they did a trailer showing what it would look like and the graphics are out of this world, but they refuse to make it

IMO, VII was one of the best games I've ever played. A lot of people are put off by the old graphics, and the sort of slow start (although I always liked the Midgar bit) but it is truley a gaming masterpeice. I never got round to playing VIII and IX, but X was just awfull. XII looks nice (although I must say Vaan looks like a Tidus clone >__<  and XIII looks amazing even from the very short video. Of course every one seems to have forgotten anything before VII. I recently played IV, which was very nice, and I am of course waiting the release of III on the DS. I am still waiting to play I, II, V and VI !

I have played all the games up to number 10, and in my opinion, 10 (X) is the best one!

FF I, II, IV, V, VI, VII, Tactics, VIII, IX = PSP 1
FF X, X-2 and soon XII = PSP 2
FF XI plus add-on's = PC
In my opinion of the best FF games:
Tactics - Import form American and is brilliant
VII - Amazing story and magic system
VI - Enjoyable game play and surprising story
VII - Cards! I loved the Card game and the rest better than good.
The worst must be FF X-2. Terrible game and only made because the Development team are owned by EA.

I have played them all, including the original ones for the SNES. Reall there is a petion goin that would be awesome has anyone here played the durge of cerberous and seen the graphics on it theyre aswsome especially the cut scene with the assault on midgar FFX however still remains my favourite final fantasy game!

How can you say 10 was awfull you heretic I mean come on I know tidus is a bit of a funboy but Auron is one of the coolest charchters of all time and that opening blitzball scene was awesome yu yeavon was too easy but Ill bet that no one here has beat all the dark aeons and all of the monster arena feinds! Ive clocked over 300 hours and I still need to beat dark anima!

24 days untill final fantasy XII I love final fantasy 7 been playing it on the psp recently!! But i love number 6 and number 9 there ace, number 6 is a bit ye olde though so i find it a bit tricky everyone should play it though

FF7 Might not be remade on the PS3...It was intended as only a promo item. When i went to the PS3 promo last year there was a playable version to shopw us that the PS3 has the capabitlity to make old games look ace. Personally i cant wait untill FF XIII Versus comes out. Love the guys red eyes Makes him look devilish....Being a god of war fan i like little bits of devilishness now and again.
