Was going to buy an Xbox360 but then I saw what the ps3 is capable of.. So I'm now going to wait and get that when its cheap enough to justify the purchase price
Nintendo have been in the side lines for a few years now remember the first super Nintendo consules the must have at the time. Here is hoping it is as good as it looks.

I may be 29 but i've already enjoyed telling my mum I want a wii when she asked what I wanted for christmas (not that I expect her to buy me one, I just enjoyed saying loudly in the supermarket that I want a wii)

The Wii is looking better all the time. There is no way they're going to delay the launch, as Nintendo are smarter than that - the fact Sony delayed the European release untill Spring 2007 means that they just handed the market over to Nintendo. And anyway, a lot of the big game names seem to be backing the Wii and the DS more than the PS3 (e.g Square-Enix). Also, with the high price of the PS3, compared to the low one of the Wii makes the Wii ten times more attractive. And anyway, innovativness>>>>graphics, as we can see by comparing sales of the DS to the PSP. So the Wii is a shoe-in success!!!
All in all, I'm a nintendo fangirl !

I heard a really teasing (and most likely totally untrue) rumour that the wii would have not only backwards capability with the gamecube but also with the dreamcast! If only!

I will be getting a Wii. The main reason is that its a Nintendo console and I always buy anything that Nintendo makes, as to me they always make the best consoles.
When I first saw the Wii controller I didn't like it and I wished that they would have done a normal controller but now I absolutly love the controller. It looks cool and you can do so much more with it.
There are also a couple of game that I am looking forward to, including Madden, Zelda, MArio and Smash Bros. They all look cool and have taken full advantage with the Wii controller.
As for the other Consoles, I'm only going to get the 360. The PS3 doesn't really do much more than what the 360 can do. Also its got a high price tag and also its a Sony console. Plus nearly all the games on the PS3 are also coming out on 360.

And PLUS, there will be a lot of *only 360* games such as Halo 3 and the like.
i think it looks kool and it's so much less expensive than the x-box 360!
