I don't know what should qualify you for brat camp. Is taking time off school because a close friend deserted enough to be called a brat? What does it take to earn that label?
Why risk the possiblity of nightmares? (According to survivors they start some 4-5 years after the program. A marine soldier rather wants to be in Iraq rather than in his "boarding school")
As I read your post, you are trying to reach out for solution. You want to be challenged. So why dont you create the camp for your self?
Wake up 5 a.m. Run/walk for an hour. Endure your school. Run/walk for yet another hour. Write down your weak and your strong assets. Outline who you have hurt with your action. Keep a journal. And foremost. Find someone in your family you can trust and use them as your mentor.
I would recommend you to see the movie: Self-medicated. The movie is based on experiences from the leading adolecent hospital in the states in the late 90'es - Brightway. Most programs in the states built on the experiences from that place. But the movie also has an interesting message: The healing starts from inside of yourself.
Tumbs up! Get going.
