my mum says that shes going to get me involved in a show like this.
cant think why though.
Confused
im not a bad kid. i mean i work hard at school and get good grades.
however, at home, i dont do much housework and im cheeky sometimes. but the last 5 years has been really hard for me... i mean.. i was bullied for 2 years, my grandma and grandad died, my parents got divorced and i had to go through two custody battles, the list goes on to do with my parents.
anyway, im in councelling to help but my parents seem to hate me for some reason.
they think a show like this is good for me and they have contacted the show.
i dont think im a particularly bad kid.

do you think that i deserve to go on a show like this just because im cheeky? i mean most teenagers are.
right??

anyway, just wondered everyone's opinion. lol
sorry.
pointless post!

If you should go in a show like this, it must be with one of your parents.

I don't know your parent's version, so if I should give an advise solely based on your statement, I would recommend that you all go together in order to bond. Some kind of communication problems exist, and it takes two parties to solve it.

As a parent I can understand how stressful it is when the child is bullied and we as parents only observe the reaction not the cause of the problem. If we don't listen very carefully, we don't get the message. And it is difficult to listen due to all the interference from outside sources like phones, work, TV etc.

The wilderness sometime is the answer because the necessary peace is present. I mean sometime, because there are other ways to isolate you and your parents in a peaceful environment. Some kind of remote area must exist in UK.

However, you will all benefit from having a third license party present when you talk. We all have our version of the real world. Sometime our version is a bit coloured by our opinion. That can block the advance in the conversation. So a little help from a third party can make the push, you all could need in order to come to some kind of agreement.

I hope you did find my input helpful.

Denmark
