If season 5 is aired, it is the last Brat camp.

Guardian - Axed programs

Victory at last!

If twentytwenty wins in court, you will have a last chance to see both mothers and daugthers suffer.

Otherwise you will have to go up memory lane or be settled to find the survivor groups on fornits and myspace to fullfil your dreams.

Hello once again Carsten,

So will the passing of Brat Camp on UK television signal the end of your presence??
I hope not...

To bring you all up to date:
I received an e-mail today, 31st Sept '07 from Channel 4 confirming Brat Camp 5 will be aired in the autumn... but no further information was included.

I, too, read in the Mail that reality progs such as Brat Camp would come to an end and failed to be included within the progs to be 'rested' by Channel 4!!
In other words Brat Camp will be axed and BC5 will be the last of the series.

Carsten - i find your comments quite odd, re. going down memory lane.
I am sure Brat Camp, whether it features youths from the UK or elsewhere, will continue somewhere in some format and will be easily accessed by those who go looking.
Also... i never watched any episode of BC to witness families suffering nor do i believe it ever fulfilled people's dreams to do so!

Could you also shed light on your statement,
"If Twenty Twenty wins in court."

Yours,
Saint.

From a source, who normally is well-informed, I have heard that someone is not happy with being on Television, so this person had sued the production company.

About the pleasure of watching suffering on Television, it was meant for MaskedBeautyx. I do not find it funny to see anyone being shipped of to another culture just in order to receive behaviour modification.

In my country we spend a lot of money to help children, who have been sent to the middle east to be re-educated, because their behaviour were too western. It is not funny at all - regardless if the behaviour modification is done by people in Utah or people in a middle East country.

Troubled teen needs to be helped in their hometown. If the present system does not work, the invent new ones. Here is a suggestion made by a group I work with in Denmark.

Would like to hear your view on Compulsory Conscription into the Army.

The UK does not operate a policy, i think it was phased out a short while after the Second World War in preference to generating our country's financial stability.

Do they have it in Denmark??

We have a long running TV programme called 'Bad Lads Army' - a show similar to Brat Camp - and results, at least in the short term, seem positive.
I have not seen 'follow-up' programmes.

Yours,
Saint.

We do have it in Denmark, but modern warfare means that it would be murder to sent the soldiers enrolled that way into war, so the Danish soldiers abroad are professional soldiers. In order ensure that they have modern weapon systems, comscription has been shortened so it functions like a job-training period where people can see if the fit into the professional army, before they sign the contract.

Very often, people in the comscription system do not see a weapon at all. A huge part of our the people who win or loose the lottery system regarding how you look at it ends up doing backup work for our fire brigade (Civil defence) or even if they for religious reasons can not protect themselves work in a kindergarten.

I do believe that all citizens should contribute to the society by deliver some month of their labour (Paid of course).

If not by serving in the army, by doing some months working in a shelther, assisting the police by direct the trafic, so we whenever we are hit by terrorist which would put a strain on the policeforce and fire-brigade can pull on a corps of trained young people.
