The programs finished now but it still seem to be doing it..?

Traffic tails off after BB but not straight away. Lots of posters like to make comments about why X housemate should/shouldn't have won and how much of a fix it was. Looking at the BB forum at this time, it's now back to a small number.

I wouldn't like to say for definate but I don't think it's been as busy on the BB forums this year as previous years, but the number of members, guests and posts increased greatly compared to just before the series started.

The BB forum is now on a different server so it shouldnt affect it. I havent been getting the errors but then I block adverts and use firefox.

Lol.. if you are being serious then fair enough, your opinion.. Though it couldn't be further from mine and i'm quite miffed by it.

Why will Liverpool being crying into their pints? Erm, have you spoke to any? Follow any of the live comments made from Liverpool fans on the larger forums? Listen to the comments made by Liverpool fans after the game? There were calls for Rafa to be given the boot at half time.. by Liverpool fans themselves.. They allowed a team to score past them not once, but twice, and hold them off for a decent amount of the game.

Generally, the feeling i got from the various comments made, they'd be crying into their pints with sheer embarrassment. You think Liverpool were good? Should be proud even? Really?

Judging by the way Liverpool fans tend to moan on the radio phone in shows, even when they're top of the league! I'd say they will be moaning into their pints.

Well done to H&W on not rolling over on 'their cup final' day. I expect many Liverpool fans will say that class won out in the end and the result was never really in doubt. That H&W shook them out of their complacency, is to their credit, though.

Sadly, from a neutral's point of view, all will be forgotten when Liverpool probably reach the final with Arsenal/Chelsea or Man U as their opposition.

I do kind of agree with you there, but it's all about perceptions. I suppose, in truth, it's because there's more of them and they're more likely to get on the shows.

But I will admit that radio football phone ins are not the place for the optimistic fan, the Norwich ones on the local radio station usually start with "I didn't go today, but..." or "I've been going to watch city for 150 years, and that was the worse performance I've ever seen..." Big Grin

A very fair point which deserves a fair answer.
There is no denying that a bit of success is good. But primarily I want to be entertained. Middlesbrough have actually been in the third division twice in my time, the second time in particular one associates with a kinship and united sense of purpose, the team were locked out and on their way out of existence.
Marvellous times.
In recent years one of the more entertaining seasons was the one where we went down, but it was entertaining stuff and we had some exciting players.
McClaren played his games with one striker and played so as not to get beat, dreadful. Game after game, no thrills.

Fair enough.

I don't agree with fans who say that the result is everything.

At least your team were boring AND hard to beat. Norwich under Worthington and Peter Grant were boring and easy to beat!

So things could have been worse. Glenn Roeder's doing an excellent job at Norwich currently (and hopefully will continue). Possession and passing football after years of defensive boring football. (usually) Smile
