Please advise me why my latest signature has been removed and also the subsequent thread regarding this. It was in Welsh and said "Thank you for listening, good night. Cardiff City Football Club". I would have been quite happy to explain this to anyone who asked, including yourselves. If you do not want to reply in open forum, please email me and let me know the reasons, but it's so difficult to get hold of you people, unless you put a swear word in the text. I would like to repeat my question: why was it removed? And also, can it be re-instated, and if not, why not? I'd hate to think that you are prejudiced against us Welsh
although i accept rules must be rules, i think this is totally ridiculous!!
think this rule shows that bigotry prevails, i being scottish would love to be able to speak or write in gaelic, and the fact that andy can should be praised.
welsh, scottish and irish gaels should be proud, not prejudiced.
Which reminds me - the above is an example of a lot of the content of the forums, especially around the Big Brother area - Can that really be classed as English? And therefore not breaking the rules?

I think you're right. we are using keyboards here and there is no need for juvenile text speak. Just press a couple more keys on the keyboard, it takes nanoseconds. I never even use text speak on texts, having left school 22 years ago and being able to grasp the Queen's English. It's not a trick after all

iz it kos he iz welsh??
Thanks, dyla. Good to see us Celtic cousins showing a little solidarity!
Its not really mean spirited as anyone who has moderated a forum or something like that will tell you its idiots that post libel and abusive stuff ruin it for the rest of us. The problem with different languages is that to moderate them you have to be able to speak the language yourself which means them employing Irish Welsh and Scottish Gaelic speakers multiply that by the shifts they do and that just covers the UK languages. Its much easier to have the rule of only English even if it does get seen as having a go at the celts again.
BTW the DNA study showed that the area I come from in southern England is 75% Celtic. Which is more than some parts of Wales like the part that was settled by the Dutch . Just thought I would throw that one in there ..
