Is this the mickey mouse cup final that you wanted a game replayed to have a second bash at getting to?

Get my name right as well. If I didn't know better, I'd swear you were being offensive and trying a wind up. You still offer no real wevidence of anything, just keep saying I'm denying things and doing "u-turns". Give it up, please

Is anyone here disputing whether or not the League Cup (sponsored by Carling)is a minor honour in the game? I just think it's a matter of principle for tottenham Hotspur whether, after their fans were caught throwing missiles at Arsenal players, they would offer to replay the league cup semi to make it clear to their supporters they will not tolerate this behaviour, it appears principles are a bit too expensive for Tottenham Hotspur.I'm on record saying Arsenal would likely turn down this offer because of their busy schedule.

all pie in the sky and guess work though, really. You don't know they would, you're just guessing. And, to say they would because of their 'busy schedule' is total guess work.

And where is the precedent of this?

It's called opinion and speculation, look them up in the Ingerlish dictionary son.

I seem to recall several years past Sir Arsene arranged a replay of the FA cup tie V Sheffield United after they gotten all indignant about Arsenal not returning the ball to them after they had put it out of play so their 'injured' man could recieve medical attention, Arsenal were perfectly within their rights to play on but missile throwing is a legal offence I understand.

There is no precedent here, the circumstances are completely different. If you remember, steve Bruce took his side off. Completely different to a few missiles being hurled that did not reach their intended target.

By the way, why can't you cut out the obnoxious comments? In an adult discussion, people don't resort to derogatory language. If you wouldn't say things to people in the street, don't use this language on here, there are rules you know. If you want to be taken seriously, which I'm finding your baseless arguments hard to take, lests keep it grown up, eh?

I myself, have felt rather surprised that an Arsenal fan should come on here and act that innocent when Arsenal fans were responsible for the biggest riot I've ever witnessed at a game, and they were throwing drinks cans, bottles, the lot. OK it was 1976, and none of our sets of fans are totally innocent, but I thought that I would mention it.

76 jeez scrapping the barrel a bit there GJ. I have already said yellow pinky is being stupid.

Now you are trying to compete with him.

1) There should be in no shape or form be a replay for an incident like that.

2) Spurs fans have recently (not 30 years ago) had problems with multiple missile throwing incidents in a season and not just against us. So yes an Arsenal fan like me can comment on it thanks very much.

still waiting for you to provide the quote from Andy about his u-turn, which of course you haven't as it doesnt exist, and still waiting for you to reply for to my post where you stated Carra could have blinded an Arsneal fan, yet ignoring the fact that an Arsenal fan threw the coin in the first place and could have blinded Carra....hypocrite??? Surely not!!

It's like the ministry of bleedin' truth round here I did not IGNORE the fact that a coin was thrown from the Highbury crowd and if you scroll back you will see this for yourself, I don't know for a fact that it was an Arsenal fan but Carragher as a matter of fact randomly threw it back into the crowd.

Our Cardiff friend denied that any missiles were thrown from the Spurs stands by saying the press and the ref had not reported any. He seems to be having a Gallic/Celtic fit and is he making veiled threats of violence?

There is no denial and there never has been. I ststede that there was no report into it and I hadn't read any reports in the papers saying missile throwing had taken place. I saw it on the TV, something that I have said in my posts, but in the papers I read, there were no reports of this happening. There is no denial so if you would like to cut and paste the quote for me where I have denied this happened, I will be more than happy to apologise to you.

Ain't going to happen though

i did not say you ignored the fact a coin had been thrown, but you said Carra could have blinded someone by throwing it back yet ignore the fact that the person who threw the coin in the first place could have blinded Carra. Is that so hard to understand or do you ignore your own hypocrisy?

It's all about getting an edge on your opponents these days, and psychology plays a big part now, it seems.

I think they'll both play personally
