Seriously though I think its good that referees are coming through younger now before their pace has become a lumber and their eyesight has moved onto the reading glasses stage.

Tis about time the younger refs are given a chance, instead of having to wait till they are a few years off retiring age to ref at the top level

He seems to be doing ok so far. But then, there is a different attitude from the players this season, so it looks like the FA's initiative seems to be working... so far
