Their not boring. Well in some games they are, but they do play some entertaining footbal its just they don't have the strikers to finish the job done which is made by the rest of the team thats way they have so many 1-0 wins.
I think it's the style of play that causes the criticism. They're clinical rather than swashbuckling. Now boring boring Liverpool on the other hand....

Well I dont see Arsenal benefitting from that this season. I must have missed the copious amounts of goals we have been scoring lately NOT. So far Chelsea scored 10 conceeded 4 Chelsea scored 18 conceeded 2. West ham have scored one more than us, did Wenger really say this or is it some rags idea of a clever twist on words or questionable translation of a french article that they love to do?

chelsea are a good football team to watch but they also have toooooooooooooooooo many low scoring not including the liverpool game !!!!!!!!!!!! what a load of beeeeeeppppp. But any way yeah chelsea good team but somtimes very boring ....... zzZzZzZzZzZ...............
I'm not a Chelsea fan, but we've got to get things intp perspective here. 7 ( or is it 8? ) wins on the trot and now a 1-4 thrashing of the European Champions on their home turf???
i hardly think we were shamed, we didn't play well and chelsea took their chances very well, but every team suffers at one time or another, everton had a great year last year but lost 7-0 to arsenal, man utd lost to norwich etc, so i hardly think there's much shame in losing to a team thats going to run away with the league and has spent even more than crazy houllier
I would just point out that Everton were guaranteed 4th place before that game and as such rested players (c'mon! Richard Wright was in goal!) and players were hungover, quite literally in some cases. So there we go

I remember the the 1994 World Cup when Nigeria were playing & Alan Hansen said their defending was naive (rubbish he meant), after that, every African team that ever kicked a ball was called naive!
People always say a goal keeper who isn't really that good, is a good shot stopper! What does that mean? Aren't GK's supposed to be good shot stoppers? It's just a diplomatic way of saying that you don't rate them!
Now all we hear is that Chelsea are boring? Boring? They've scored more goals than anyone else & broken all manner of records.
Chelsea are a great side who now how to vary their tactics. They can battle those that want to kick, they can outplay those that want to pass & when a long ball is needed, they can do that too.
