Dirk Kuyt (Dutchman) gets away with the most blatent penalty offence last night at the Emirates with the ref (Dutchman) standing 5 yards from it. Is it me but do Liverpool more often than average seem to have a 12th man on the pitch in these ECL enounters?

Hi Yellow Valentine Hug

I am a Liverpool fan and i would have to disagree that Liverpool have a 12th man, you only have to look at alot of decisions that have not gone our way this season Wink

I think that Kuyts was a penalty and the ref should have given it.

However I think it would have been the same if stevie hadnt of stayed on his feet too, if he went over that was a penalty too

I do like Arsenal, always have done, so was gutted we drew each other Frown

On a good note to see both sets of fans before the game getting on and having good banter is what it is all about, been alongtime since i witnessed a nive rivalry between fans, hope i see it again

Long way to go in this tie, i thought arsenal will anialate us to be honest, so 1 1 is a good result for us.

Take care honeypots Hug

Finally something we can agree on! It's not exclusive to the ECL though...

the ref saw what the rest of us saw and that was drop like a bag of spuds soon as he felt an arm on him, from the replay you could clearly see he didnt tug or pull, and if he did it was very slightly and no one would need to fall to ground, by falling to the ground he just let himself down he had a good chance to score, he chose to drop to the floor for a pen and the ref did the right thing, if he made an effort to fight for ball the ref probably would of given a penalty

If that was a penalty last Tuesday at Anfield the one at the Emirates was an act of war and the UN security council should convene! when you watch the two back to back it really hits home! I hope the Arsenal guy appeals the yellow card and Babel gets one retrospectively and misses the Chelsea semi'
Dirk Keyt and the Emirates ref are quite good aquaintances it turns out.
