I hope so . There is a long way to go yet. Liverpool undefeated in the league. Chelsea and Man United looking strong. December and the African cup will be the big tester.

If an Arsenal fan thinks we're playing good football then that's good enough for me! We are playing to the strengths of our key players in Arteta, Yakubu and Cahill - these players are all at the best with the ball on the floor, it suits Valente/Baines, AJ, Osman and Pienarr as well - just need to get Yobo, Neville and Lescott to stop with the aimless long balls every now and again!

Ex Gunner sends Spurs to defeat.
Excellent result for the Blues.
Sure the ref will be blamed.

Just so everyone is aware: MOURINHO CAN'T SIGN FOR ANOTHER ENGLISH CLUB FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. HE HAS A CLAUSE IN HIS PAY-OFF FROM CHELSEA SAYING THIS No offence, but I'm hacked off reading everyone on here speculating this. Show me the links where he's meant to be joining Liverpool, I've not read this anywhere apart from here. The reason he got a £25 millon pay off from Chelsea means precisely this. Please give this up

I turned Sky sports on yesterday afternoon and the first wiords I heard were "A real howler from Titus Bramble". Can anyone explain to me how this bloke is still a Premiership player and also how Chris Hutchings expected to stay in a job when he signed players of Bramble's ability?

Hi Andy Peeps are only speculating because of what they read in the media - as much as we dislike them, there is 90% an air of truth in what they report whether us as fans like it or not this is proven in most instances unfortunately Ref Jose's clause - this can be brought out i believe from the club that will attempt to buy him, apparently this would cost millions, so i cant see anyone from prem getting him myself - however it is possible for any club to buy him regardless of his clause For me I dont want him at Liverpool anyhow quote: Originally posted by AndyCardiff: quote: Originally posted by Ronibugs: Update: Jose reported to want a club big in europe, it is reported these are AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid Gosh Jose continues to be linked with Liverpool - I want Rafa to STAY and am hoping now things have died down he will

Hi Roni, It was in the press about the clause in the first place. However, with it being £25 million, I'd reckon that's what it would take to buy out the clause, and that's taking into account chelsea would accept, which I'd hazard a guess they wouldn't. And would any club be prepared to pay £25 million for a manager? Probably not. And, saying you wouldn't want him at Liverpool, if Rafa was to leave, who else would you have that's available? He's one of the best, so if I were you, I'd take him.

yes i cant see any club paying that amount of money just to buy out of a clause Andy, but hey stranger things have happened and Jose is in huge demand so who knows, i dont yeah if rafa left - managerial wise jose is up there with the best of them, so yes of course he wouldnt be a bad choice at liverpool, but with rafa still being in his post and at the mo the team doing so well, the answer is no, however i would change my mind once rafa was confirmed as left the club (hope that makes sense) quote: Originally posted by AndyCardiff: quote: Originally posted by Ronibugs: Hi Andy Peeps are only speculating because of what they read in the media - as much as we dislike them, there is 90% an air of truth in what they report whether us as fans like it or not this is proven in most instances unfortunately Ref Jose's clause - this can be brought out i believe from the club that will attempt to buy him, apparently this would cost millions, so i cant see anyone from prem getting him myself - however it is possible for any club to buy him regardless of his clause For me I dont want him at Liverpool anyhow

I certainly cant explain it, he has to be one of the worst defenders the top flight has ever seen, and theres been some bad ones. I remember a while ago someone was on here trying to defend (pardon the pun) him, conspicuous in their absence now!!

Yes me too and apparently Jurgen Klinsmann is also waiting to hear from the FA, according to a German FA insider

Yes he wouldnt be a bad shout old Jurgen, but for me get Jose in, he is by far the best candidate they have that is willing to take the job (my 1st choice would be martin o'neill but he has rules himself out) quote: Originally posted by *Coldy*: quote: Originally posted by Ronibugs: morning colds wow that sounds promising i am sick of hearing candidates, i just want someone in place now as it is getting boring zzzzzzzz jose would be a great choice quote: Originally posted by *Coldy*: Morning All Roni Just seen this in the paper Mourinho has prepared a blueprint of his vision for England, which includes restarting the National Fooball Centre project at Burton, in anticpation that the FA will make formal contact this week.
