Sunderland to struggle as they haven't really bought much quality (apart from Chopra of course) and no-one seems to want to sign for Roy Keane, but they'll stay up just. But I reckon Fulham, Derby and Boro or Wigan to go
Derby as they just dont have the quality, i think Barnes will be off in January.
Wigan as most of their signings have been uninspiring, and anyone with Titus Bramble will struggle.
I desperately want Birmingham to go down re Steve Bruce but i think theyve some good players so will plump for Fulham instead, Sanchez didnt do much last year and they dont have much depth or class in the squad.

I think we will be safe again this year.
We will have a better defence than last season for certain, just got to hope Niemi stays fit. Midfield we are very strong- Diop, Smertin, Davies, Davis, Dempsey all more than good enough with Bullard to come back!
Then we may not have a goal scorer who will score 15-20 but between them McBride, Kamara, Healy and John will score enough goals to stear us clear of relegation. Kamara's looking very good and I'm excited about this man playing alongside McBride.
Seriously though, they are shocking & a definite must for the drop.
Can't about the others at this early stage, but Bolton might be another candidate, especially as the Incredible Sulk will want to leave them in January & go to a club playing European Cup football.
Unless they take 3 pts from Newcastle or Arsenal. They'll be off to a worse start than Sunderland in the year that they only got 15pts - the lowest ever.

Tramps like us.....and we like tramps. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i look at the table and i struggle to see a team they will beat, sure they'll win half a dozen maybe, theyre bound to, but enough to get to around 40 points, i doubt it
I loved the way Warnock said that, as he had just had a taste for the Premiership, he now wanted to stay in a job there. He would have had a job for a very long time at Sheff United, but the general feeling in football is that everyone hates him so no-one has touched him with a 10 foot pole.
Derby are gone and then it could be any 2 from about 8.
Sunderland and Birmingham are the weakest out of all of them but you rarely get all 3 clubs who come up going back down in one season. Then you have Reading, Bolton, Wigan, Fulham and Middlesbrough. West Ham should be ok despite the manager.

serves him right, he obviously has a much greater opinion of himself than others do, along with steve bruce i have nothing but contempt for him
I had no faith in the 'Boro before the season started, but having seen them play a few times I think we should be OK this season. I don't think that we are a great team but we are in a different league to Derby, Birmingham, Reading and Sunderland............... so far. (Fingers crossed and thumbs pressed though but)
Originally posted by AndyCardiff: If rumours are true, dropping your 2 most experienced players (Nolan and Speed) before the Chelsea game may not be the way forward
Not sure about Nolan but Speed is older than Lehmann. Bobby Charlton has experience, I wouldnt say the way forward would to put him back in the team at united though.
