Cant argue with any of them, delighted to see Kewell in there. I was going to say he will always be fit for a cup final but with that team of crocks theres not much chance of them making any final!!!

He's been fit for a while but Stephen Warnock has had three broken legs already in his relatively short career. Solskjaer would have fit (pardon the pun) in there too, except he's now retired.....from injury!! Cahill seems to have started picking up a few knocks, lets hope that just temporary. Martin Laursen hasnt played that much for Villa since he signed, i reckon we could get a second team out soon between us!!

e

I was going to put him in and Cisse also. But I thought it'd be unfair to put in players who've suffered broken legs out of pure freak bad luck. What all the others have in common is that if it isn't knee knack its ankle knack or toe knack for one reason or another they'll always be injured.

No room for Hargreaves? The stat of 125 games in 10 years of profesional football at the start of this season, should be enough!

erm... With this group of super-knacked midfielders: Kewell,Duff, Dyer, Robben it's a very tough midfield to get into.
I did this tongue firmly in cheek, but if you look at it, the whole of the midfield is currently knacked and in total 7 of that XI are sidelined Eek

C'mon zeds! He was even crocked when he took his fitness test for Man U!!
That's gotta be worth something! (and I don't mean £18m!)
Checking back, in the ten years at Bayern Munich, he actually managed 145 appearances (including the ones he was stretchered off!)
So thats about what a regular first team player would notch up in a quarter of that time...or an avererage of 14 and a half games per year...Got to be a worse average than Kewell, Duff, Dyer, and Robben
And to rest my case, he looks like Mika, which is a disability in itself! Wink

Okay i've gone away and done the stats:
I've used the data from the last 5 seasons, they're all a pretty similar age so I guess it's only fair. Cupra you went back ten years on Hargreaves but since that'd make him only 16 at the time, I don't think that'll give you an accurate reflection. I've only counted league starts for each player in that last 5 year period. Any here goes:

Kewell (whose face name is actually Harold Big Grin) has played on average 18.8 games a season.

Dyer has played 21.1 games a season.

Duff has played 20.6 games a season.

Robben has played 13.6 games a season Eek

Hargreaves with still a rubbish 24.2 a season doesn't make it into the team.

To put these figures into perspective Frank Lampard has averaged 37 games a season, over the same period. Angel

He's been at Liverpool for 4 years so I counted his last year at Leeds which bumped up his average.

i cant even imagine what that hairdo was about, maybe his own body tried to disown him and thats why he was injured so much, his legs refused to let him take to the field looking such an 4rse

Also Ljungbergs is 23.8 for the last 5 years.

I am still campaigning for Aliadiere for a spot on the team at an average of 9.2 games for the last 5 years.

Now do it for Aliadiere too Big Grin. I
