well done on your points andy, I have never known the championship to be so close at the top, is it seven sides separated by 6 points?
Also very tight at the bottom and am thankful for our recent good run, teams might need 52 points for safety?

An excellent win for us last night, feeling the after effects of sinking too much lager after the game now though! It really is very tight, but I'm confident for the rest of the season and I know we're as good as anyone in the Championship when we're at full strength. and we're now only 4 points off the top too. A good little run you're on too, Jean. There was a good feature on Mandaric on Football Focus today, I don't know if you saw it. They even put a plaque up in his office which said "Leicester 10 Portsmouth 0". A nice touch!

sorry about your defeat to Birmingham andy, that was a real six pointer wasnt it?
still a good way to go so keep your spirits up.

Thanks Jean, and it's good to see your lads turning things around, but a little too late probably for a play off place. The game yesterday wouldn't have gone ahead, or would probably have been abandoned, if uit hadn't been on Sky, but a draw tonight between Preston and Southampton would be good

uninspiring
well done andy I think cardiff won today.

Yeah, we did, we beat Norwich 1-0, but we made hard work of it. I think that was a typical result for you, Jean. Mid-table, not really going anywhere. But I think you'll be strong next season

yes just flirting with the relegation area again, I think leicester are only 7 points clear so a poor run could see them sucked in again.
Certainly very tight at the top and glad u are still in with a shout. Sunderland's run is unbelievable and my guess is they will have the momentum to carry it through. Its one of the tightest championship/playoff and relegation scraps the division has ever seen.

I'd love to see Leeds, Santa Claus and that horrible little pisqueak manager go down, and hopefully, Jean, you've just nailed another one in their coffin. It is very tight at the top. We have Derby away on Saturday and Sunderland at home on March 31. Oo-err!!

It was a disgrace Andy.
Leicester competed very well throughout the 1970's until the retard that is Frank McClintock was appointed and boy did we suffer. Jock Wallace was a false dawn but Gordon Milne did ok. Our modern day hero Martin O'Neil deserted us and then we had that idiot Peter Taylor. Someone needs to ressurect us and it ain't gonna be the current manager. OK u saved us fron relegation last season but that is NOT what LCFC is about- WE DEMAND SUCCESS LONG TERM!
GOD BLESS JIMMY BLOOMFIELD! AND ARTHUR ROWLEY AND GARY LINEKER!

just did a long post but i slagged off frank mclintock but i hope it is allowed through by the mods

I have a feeling that there will be a new manager there next season. We have had loads of iffy managers, but when a new man with loads of money comes in, current managers generally don't last too long. Sam Hammam came in and appointed all his old cronies and drinking pals (Cork, Gould, Lawrence) before he settled on DJ who is, in my opinion, the best manager in our league. But then, tghe general concensus is that he was a Ridsdale appointment anyway

hello again andy
stoke 4 leicester 2
yet another lamentable performance keeps leicester hovering just 7 points from relegation
|
| |
|

Did someone on here remark on and celebrate the fact that three Yorkshire teams were bottom of this division? Six months is a long time in Football. Isn't that right Mr Keane?
Worshipping the teapot 4711. The greatest threat we all face is not being able to get cheap car insurance. Will anyone ever be able to help?

leicester 1 derby 1
thankful point but no win now in lord knows how many games
|
| |
|

|
plymouth 3 leicester 0
another truly lamentable show which leaves just 5 points from the drop
luton are down but everyone else is getting results and I would guess another 6 points are needed
truly sad to see that leeds could now stay up
|
| |
|

|
I think it was right the manager had to go. I pray we can do enough to stay up. I will be away im Majiorca for a week so if someone (Andy?) could type in the leicester norwich score etc that would be great.
leicester have never been out of the top two divisions but we are very close again. I believe we once beat oxford 1-0 on the last day of the season years ago to stay up.
|
| |
|

|
leicester 1 norwich 2
abysmal
leicester 1 birmingham 2
hopeless
preston 0 leicester 1
nothing short of a miraculous performance and fair credit given.
Still not out of the woods, nailbiting end to season.

Hi Jean, sorry I didn't type up the Leicester score, I've only just got this. I hope you survive as next season will be a good one for you, I'm sure of it, with your new owner. Us, on the other hand, look like we're going nowhere with Dave Jones in charge and the current board

Yet at one point it seemed that you'l run away with the league. Where did it go so badly wrong?
|
| |
|

|
Well, zeds, where do I start? Injuries, suspensions, a paper thin squad that wasn't up to the rigours of a full season, Jones' dodgy decisions and inability to buy well in the transfer market, his inability to reverse a slump in form, players lack of desire... just the start really. And it all looked so good early season

Well on the bright side at least you can look forward to a possible derby with the Swans next term
|
| |
|

|
I think that many, many fans of both sides are looking forward to a game against the jacks. And a lot of Cardiff fans hate Bristol City more than Swansea, so that is a 100% certainty to happen
