Figo got away with it because the referee had dealt with it in the game by giving a yellow card. No action was taken against Ronaldo because the referee didn't see it (and Rooney never went down like he'd been shot).
Fifa are now in a position to take action against him and suspend him for the next game. Poetic justice that would be!

By the look on Rooney's face you could tell its wasnt friendly banter, he was winding Rooney up then got him sent off, after he had done what he planned to do, he turned and winked to the bench, he should be banned for the rest of the competition, which will only be the next game as France will win the cup.

When Postiga knocked us out last time he was playing for Spurs but left, i think Ronaldo should do the same at Man U, he will be hated next season.
I don't think you can blame Rooney's idiotic behaviour on Ronaldo. He should have risen above Ronaldo's 'taunting'. As far as I'm concerned Rooney got sent off due to his own actions. No-one asked him to stamp on the Portugese player and no-one asked him to push Ronaldo, however moronic Ronaldo's actions were.
