Why are they not ever criticised in the media?? Instead praised week in, week out.
I remember when Chelsea were fielding a team of non-English players under Vialli and got loads of reprehension. However Arsenal still get the favourable refereeing decisions from bias referees.
The Middlesbrough match is an example of this- the referee Rob 'gooner' Styles apparently giving Arsenal a number of soft free kicks. This was even said by a former Arsenal player!
Then came the unsporting Henry free kick. Styles clearly signalled the Borough defence to wait for the whistle and moved them back 10 yards. Henry asked if he could take it early and Styles said 'yes'. An understandably angry group of Borough players voiced their displeasure and had a right to know why Styles broke the rules and cheated. If it was fair, Henry would have recieved the caution, not the Borough players. This led to the sending off of Boeting so ruined Middlesbroughs game plan.
Anyway Arsenal are still liked by the media and the FA despite having Walcott as their only English player.
This is harmful to the England national team. Arsenal a team of foreigners get the decisions when the mostly British teams like Fulham get the decisions go against them.
Is this the Arsenal that had a BBC documentary attack on them not long ago....hmmm
The free kick situation is stupid, they should make a rule and stick to it. Some referees allow a quick free kick and some dont. We have had it done to us too, Leeds a few seasons back.
Im not going over the whole English player borefest again especially not with a Chelsea fan. But you will find Hoyte has played more games for the first team than Walcott this year.
