After watching the game last night, i'm quite hopeful that we can emulate the last couple of years and progress to a major championship.

i won't deny it wasn't a great game, but we passed the ball about quite well and if james mcfadyean would stop trying to score from 40 yards we might have got the ball into the box more and scoredSmile why does he continue to be allowed to do that?????

anyhoo, despite not scoring against a team 16 places below us in the rankings there is hope, especially when our injured players are back next month.

As you know, dyla, it's all about performances over results in these games, mate. OK, it's good to score a few, but as long as the teams reaching an understanding of the way each other play, then it's all good.

Wales, on the other hand, we were missing quite a few of our younger players last night and it looked like it. I know Georgia had a point to prove with the unrest in their country, but they are still Georgia and should have been there for the taking.

By the way, you've just bought yourself a great centre back in Glenn Loovens. Big, strong, powerful, quick with a good reading of the game. I was very sad to see him go but, as he was refusing to sign a contract, it was inevitable in the end

A word of congratulations for Dean Shiels. Good to see him back in the international reckoning.
