who do ou think is better .. gerrard or lampard?
personally i think that gerrard is a better player and i would rather have him in my team any day. as a liverpool fan i would say that so what do neutral fans think . for me gerrard has got more pace and he is captain marvel

Gerrard just edges it for me.

Preferably neither, though have to say Gerrard, being as he actually finds the net now and again, and Lampard (or Lampost, as in couldn't hit one) was frustrating to watch through the world cup.

yh i agree .. and gerrard has just something about him which is better .. also it says a lot about gerrard .. that he can play on the right of midfield for england and be soo effective .. the man is great

It's tough to say, because they are very similar & they have not been utilised correctly for England.

I'd have to say Stevie G, simply because he appears to be more versatile & inspirational than Lampard.

I used to think Lamps, back around the time of the Euros, but now it's definitely Stevie G. As $6m Man said above, he's versatile and inspirational.

not supporting liverpool or chelsea l wouldnt say no to any of them going to newcastle (like thats ever going to happen though). gerrard l think is the better player. lampard has to many quility players around him so he doesnt have to try 100% every game if he doesnt want to as other players will take the light off him. gerrard has quility players around to though but he really is the spine of the team the driving force which makes him stand out more and be noticed.

If I did my oppinion of the world eleven, Gerrard would be in it, and not Lampard.

I disagree Dollars. Imo Lampard is little more than a good honest pro that gets up and down the pitch and scores goals at club level because the players and system allows him to. He is simply magnificent & I wish he played for Manchester United.

Gerrard he is always involved in the game and usually the s tandout player for Liverpool anyway.
Frank Lampard can be invisible at times.

At the moment Gerrard edges it for me (and I'm a Chelsea fan) Frank has lost his touch of late, but his form is slowly coming back. I reckon he'll net at least 15 goals this season, which aint bad for a midfielder.

There is absolutly no comparrison imo

Gerrard (even after today's derby!) - an excellent all rounder.

Lampard - i think it showed most in the WC - Lamps couldn't score in a brothel!
