Hard to say, would lean towards Gerrard, and Lampard really didn't help his case this weekend...

I used to be unsure however it has now become obvious.
Gerrard is by the far superior player.
If you take Gerrard out of the England team we would be a far lesser team. Take Lampard out of the England team and we would be missing nothing.

What i think is that England will never be any good whilst Lampard and Gerrard are playing in the same team. Managers of top international teams are not afraid to make tough decisions for the good of the team.
