We've probably all read the section in FourFourTwo, so now to get to know everyone on here i've adapted it for us footy supporting fools
Born: 1976
Nicknames: None i would mention, all too embarrassing, had ginger hair as a lad and wear glasses, you can figure them out
Team supporting: Liverpool - first saw them in 1984 and have followed them since, through some amazing times and some poor times
Heroes: Johan Cruyff, the pinacle of Dutch football, for my money on a par with Pele and Maradona, but gets the nod for being with "lesser" players, was sensational wherever he played, and a fantastic manager to boot.
Supporting highlights: Where to begin, 1986 and 1989 doubles, every win over Man Utd, 2001 season and last seasons Champions League tournament.
Supporting lowlights: Heysel and Hillsborough, i shall say no more.
Toughest opponent against your team: Roy Keane has always done a good job on us, probably the most consistent player against us. Big Dunc also seems to save one of his 3 annual goals for the Derby too.
Best player in the world: I can't see past Ronaldinho, for talent and entertainment in equal measure. One of few players i would genuinely pay just to see them. Need to mention Carragher too, local legend, a true red.
Most embarrassing moment in life: Too many drunken incidents too mention, especially at uni, though they have no stopped since. Once got drunk and swore at the mother in law, paid for that the next day!!!
Tunes: Love Oasis, still better than most rubbish in the charts, also REM, Keane, Embrace
Flicks: The Crow, The Godfather I & II, cheesy horror films
Wheels: Something red
Chicks: has been Neve Campbell for years
TV programme: mostly comedy, The Office, Extras, The Simpsons, older comedies like The Wonder Years, Roseanne, anything by Peter Kay
What were you like at school? average, nothing more
Tell us something we don't know about you: I once played the world darts champion in a pub in darlington
In five years I'll be... in the same job still talking rubbish on here!!
Nicknames: Miss p! penelope pitstop, princess... and some slightly less attractive ones!
Team supporting: Man Utd - got one parent who supports utd and one who supports liverpool - had to make the decision in the 80s so went with the less successful.. Meeting Bryan Robson definately swayed my choice!
Heroes: I assume this means football heros so Cantona... he was magnificant to watch... the way he would pre-empt exactly what would happen next... Mon Dieu! (and the only man EVER to strike me dumb... i literally couldn't speak when I met him)
Supporting highlights: hmmm my first game versus Liverpool - sat in stretford end, nearly cried when I walked up the steps and heard the roar.... but obviously 94 and 99 were great seasons!
Supporting lowlights: driving for 3 hours in the pouring rain home from Old Trafford after being knocked out of Europe by Real... in fact any time we lose a big match... after FA cup final last year I must have scared a fair few people walking round Cardiff sobbing!!
Toughest opponent against your team: Viera... not the best player but certainly seemed to store up some venom for the utd matches.
Best player in the world: hmm hard one... Think both Zidane and Figo were amazing, but are getting a bit long in the tooth. Talking Utd tho Heinze is my current favourite...
Most embarrassing moment in life: Hey i'm a drama queen - i feed on embarrassment! but I think the whole sky tv show on my holiday....
Tunes: ooo lots! currently got GLC in my stereo, but Razorlight, The Killers, Kaiser Cheifs, Stereophonics or anything else with loud guitars...
Flicks: The Breakfast Club, Goodfellas, Almost Famous, Finding Nemo - films in general!
Wheels: a typical girly clio... (until u see the bad-boy speakers in the boot)
C*cks: Colin Farell, Nigel Harmann, Lee Sharpe
TV programme: depends on my mood... bit of an E4 freek so One Tree Hill, Lost etc but fav show of all time is still Queer as Folk.... can't wait for new Shameless series
What were you like at school? geek!! top set everything, lead in school plays, no detentions...
Tell us something we don't know about you: I always wanted to be a Shakespearian actor
In five years I'll be... living with my husband Lee talking about the glory days when he played for utd!!
Nicknames: None but dyla comes from the initials of my family> d:for me y:my wife l:daughter a:son and i should actually change it to dylan cos i now have another son!!!
Team supporting: Celtic but firstly St.Mirren - first saw them in 1987 when they won the Scottish Cup, the whole town of Paisley went estatic, ironically thats when i started supporting Celtic,YES even when Rangers were winning nine in a row!!!
Heroes: Jock Stein, one of Britains best but under rated managers. Managed Celtic to European glory being the first British team to do so in 1967 with a 2-1 win over Inter. Every member of the team was Scottish. Jock also went on to manage Scotland before having a massive heart attack on the final whistle of Scotlands win over Wales in Woprld Cup play off!!
Supporting highlights: Being an Old Firm fan I have many... since 1988 their centenery year when i started following them:
League titles:1988, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 Scottish Cups:1988, 1989, 1995, 2001, 2004,2005 League Cups:1998, 2000, 2001
but the biggest highlights must be getting to the UEFA Cup Final in Seville or treble in 2001!!! oh and stoppin 9 in a row!!
Supporting lowlights: Martin o'Neil or larsson leaving boo hoo!!
Best player in the world: Ronaldinho, shear class, nothing more to say about the guy!!
Most embarrassing moment in life: oh where to start dunno!!
Tunes: very broad spectrum of music!!
Flicks: ??
Wheels: at moment VW Golf VR6 but its F~*ked
Chicks: my misses
TV programme: ??
What were you like at school? liked
Tell us something we don't know about you: i'm at uni studying nursing
In five years I'll be... a super duper surgical nurse
TV programme: Like ScouseTiger, anything with Peter Kay. Also 'Early Doors' and - because I'm a geek - The Sky at Night with the outstanding Patrick Moore, who've I seen lecture.
What were you like at school? Really, really bad. Hated authority.
Tell us something we don't know about you: I live and work in Seoul, South Korea, as of August 21st this year. It's great here, although I miss my mum, my cat, my guitar and the football being on at a reasonable hour.
We've probably all read the section in FourFourTwo, so now to get to know everyone on here i've adapted it for us footy supporting fools
Born: 1966
Nicknames: I had blonde thick curly hair before straighteners...figure them out.
Team supporting: Arsenal - Got given an arsenal kit by my gran at 4 have supported them ever since .
Heroes: I'll keep it to footie heroes. Bergkamp, Brady, Charlie George.
Supporting highlights: I have been so lucky, and at one point in my life I never thought id say that. The two double years were fantastic but the last minute win against Liverpool and the first league win in 18 years I will take to my grave. I dont think I shall ever top that feeling unless England win the world cup . For England being in the crowd watching England take Holland apart in Euro 1996 4-1 and Gascoignes goal against scotland .
Supporting lowlights: Losing to United in the FA cup semi final in their treble year. The two semi final losses to Germany.
Toughest opponent against your team: I guess I would have to say Roy Keane as he played for Forest and United against us.
Best player in the world: I guess it has to be Ronaldinho though I expect we shall all be changing our minds at the next world cup .
Most embarrassing moment in life: Just recently back from living in Germany walked naked into the local gyms sauna....I had completely forgotten where i was!
Tunes: Kaiser Chiefs, Coolplay...but not much into music.
Flicks: The seven samurai, The Shawshanks Redemption, The Matrix and Bladerunner.
Wheels: Currently a Honda Accord
Chicks: Maths lecturers
TV programme: I like most reality TV. I'm a celebrity, Big Brother. I also like sci-fi, Stargate SG1, Star Trek. Missing a decent comedy lately.
What were you like at school? too shy, no good at sport but good academically.
Tell us something we don't know about you: I was once a Brighton and Hove Albion season ticket holder
In five years I'll be... not saying..dont want to spoil the chances of it happening
