Charlie started in Millwalls academy, then he moved on to Spurs academy. We let him go and he had a contract with Ipswich and won the FA Youth Cup, he was released at the end of 2006 season and went on trial at Palace and played in the reserves, and Peter Taylor has kept him on since he took over, and he scored in his first pre season friendly.
