Being a follower of Orient I am left desperately seeking top quality football Since when i was growing up the only free to air top football was italian football so I was a keen follower. Now I watch La Liga and Serie A more than the Prem. A keen follower of Fiorentina (from the Rui Costa and Batistuta days) and Inter (They had a player called Ruben Sosa in the early 90's, wow what a player). Also Lecce where I spent a couple of weeks on holiday. In Spain I've always followed Barca (for the football and the Greats they've had over the years) and Athletic Bilbao (for the romance). Elsewhere, I look out for PSG and Marseille in France and Ajax in Holland. In Germany I look out for Cologne (now relegated )because I had a very nice time there a few years ago. In Portugal its Sporting Lisbon.
So many teams no wonder I can never be faithful to a woman
I remember Sosa. Played in Serie A the same time as Gazza if I remember rightly. Those were the good old days of C4 Football Italia on a sunday afternoon, the only football you could really watch on a sunday as hardly anyone had sky in those days

What about St Pauli then??? I also look out for Hannover 69ers.
I had a long chat with a St Pauli fan while in the Fans Fest. He was a decent guy and we talked about German and English football, as well as our teams for about 20-30 minutes. I like the Skull and crossbones badge, but they remind me a lot of Cardiff City. Fanatical support in a crumbling ground
Fanatic support is true. You should have been there when they made it to the bundesliga!!! I have quite a collection of shirts-they don't all have the skull and crossbones on. My favourite is the one commemorating the victory over Bayern Muenchen (who I hate with a passion) Cue-which foreign teams do you hate most thread
Did you have a look in one of their fan shops Andy?
I am going to watch Spurs v Inter Milan, i cant wait but i must say i am really worried as well, we are playing Materazzi and he has a terrible rep for leaving the opposition laid up in the injury room
'The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.' - Danny Blanchflower

Saw a German fella with a black St Pauli shirt, another with a sort of camouflage design on too. didn't manage to get into any club shops as we couldn't find any. The one that came closest was a portakabin on the back of the ground. Not sure if it was a club shop or not, but it had loads of graffiti on the outside
I still look for Eintract Frankfurts results ( i still have a scarf of thiers ..heh). They are totally poo though, the stadium looks a lot better than when i was last there though, weird shadows accepted.

Apart from Lyon, I don't really support other foreign teams as such, but I am fond of Greek teams in Europe (they are my underdog choices), Sporting Lisbon (they were exciting in the UEFA cup and they tried hard) and Werder Bremen (I would love it if they denied the typical teams in the champions league a quarter final place, because they have the quality to pose a real threat and cause a shock result).
I think we all love to see the smaller teams in the q/f's at the expense of the bigger, greedier, more established clubs. That's why it's so refreshing to see Monaco, Werder and Lyon (Yes, I know they're in the G14, but they're still considered an underdog in CL terms for the time being). I like Lyon a lot and I had them as my team for a while on Championship Manager!
Received a letter from Hamburg this morning. Our friends photos on a Cd but best of all an overhead shot of the Fanzone with 65K people in it. Happy memories Andy!
